@adekunlegold wants YOU to know that #goodness is calling out to you! #IRE Adekunle Gold releases a new song and music video titled ‘Ire’. It is a personal song which reflects on his life’s journey with a message that will inspire his fans for a long time to come. 'Ire' is a life lesson packaged in a slow tempo song and accompanied by traditional Yoruba percussion sounds. Adekunle Gold sings in his native Yoruba language as is his usual style. He also sings in English for an uncharacteristic amount of time, alluding to his desire for the song’s important lessons to be understood. According to Adekunle Gold, “'Ire' is a symbolic summary of my life experiences and my journey to becoming Adekunle Gold." He also took to Instagram to let his fans know that “This song will be the soundtrack of your life.” Adekunle Gold opens the song singing: “The grass is greener on the other side, that’s what I thought before I took the ride.” He goes on to reveal that “The life I was looking for was already my own,” before telling listeners, “Goodness is calling out to me, it’s telling me to come home.” The song was produced by Seyikeyz, the video was directed by Ajeand shot in various locations around Lagos, Nigeria, including Ajah, Ajegunle, Ikorodu and Ikoyi. The scenes in the video are beautifully played in reverse, alluding to Adekunle Gold's self-reflection. Scenes where Adekunle Gold prepares dinner on firewood, sings in church and paddles a canoe are some of the visuals that contribute to the video’s captivating aesthetic making it a video worth watching!!! . . . . #afrobeats #gossip #news #entertainmentnews #afropop #afrornb #afrodancehall #newmusic #music #comment #like #post #share #follow #adekunlegold #afrobeatbuzz
Multi award winning Ghanaian artist @stonebwoyb has been making waves across the world with his brand of afro-pop driven reggae and dancehall over the last few years, picking up plaudits far and wide including from the likes of BBC, CNN, MTV, BET and lots more. Off the back of previous single ‘Falling Again Ft. Kojo Funds’ and hosting a packed out UK album listening party at Red Bull Studios last week, Stonebwoy announces the release of his highly anticipated new album ‘Epistles Of Mama (EOM)’ out 12th December. To coincide with this he has team up with dancehall queen Khalia on these brand new visuals for album track ‘Hold On Yuh’, a track showcases his ability of combing the two genres and cultures that influence him most. His 3rd studio album and the first of its kind, ‘Epistles Of Mama’ or #EOM is a double album consisting of 12 reggae songs and 12 afrobeats tracks. The ambitious project sees @stonebwoyb bring together these 2 genres in one package with some specials collaborations with some of the scene’s finest including; Sean Paul, Sarkodie, Burna Boy, Kabaka Pyramid and much more. Stonebwoy explains the thinking behind the duality of the album: “I wanted to reach out across the world, to all the lovers reggae and all the lovers of afrobeats and to bring these 2 genres together in one place.” The theme of motherhood is key to the album, and is a message that pins many of the tracks together. Dedicated to his Mother and the morals and guidance that all mothers instil in their children, Stonebwoy explains: “It’s inspired by the good morals, the teachings, the lessons, the anguish and the smiles of life - All the important things in life which are passed on to us by our mothers.” cc: @coveredpr @tia_amarie @booshbingbangflo . . . . . . . . . #afrobeatbuzz #afrobeats #gossip #news #entertainmentnews #afropop #afrornb #afrodancehall #newmusic #music #presenter #music #followforfollow #followus #comment #like #post #share #follow
