Kurt Hummel is fifty years old and lives in Manhattan, New York. He’s a fashion designer and journalist and is currently single.
After taking up Rachel’s offer and moving out to California with her, he began to search for jobs. Leaving the safety and comfort of Lima was hard, but he needed a push to pull him out of his so called “funk.”
He found a job working in a local fashion company on Los Angeles and felt extremely at home. Even though it was a big risk to take, the company loved his work and employed him full time. He not only designed clothing for the company, but was also put in charge of reviewing certain looks and fashion trends. He started a new fashion blog which became extremely popular and he felt like he’d finally found his place.
After working for three years in Los Angeles, he needed a change. He needed to be in the city that he’d aspired to be in so many years ago. He found a place to work and a small apartment and moved to Manhattan, New york. He scored a job as a fashion designer and journalist in a popular Manhattan fashion company and spent most of his time burying himself in his work.
Since he and Blaine divorced, Kurt had not attempted to date again. He thought if he could concentrate on his work, he would not feel lonely. That, however, was not the case. His work could not provide the feeling of comfort and a family.
His depression only worsened and he never told anybody about it. While he is happy working in fashion, he’s not truly happy with his life. His depression hasn’t gotten any better, but nobody knows.
