I had an amazing afternoon. I laughed so much.

We went for coffee (at a place he had looked up as being the best cafe in town), we stayed there until they were closing, and then we went on a row boat in the sunshine.

Then proceeded to wander and loop the city repeatedly.

From 2pm until 8pm. So was quite a while.

He seems totally my kind of person. But we shall see. He asked if I wanted to meet again, and seemed really relieved when I said yes...

There were some really nice moments and good signs. But I’m not one to get too convinced as I’m a pessimist/realist.

Plus I’m on holiday from tomorrow for 10 days - so he could easily meet someone else in that time or just lose the momentum.

With the last guy I dated I never thought he was boyfriend material, it was always “well he could possibly be, we’ll see” whereas after one date I feel this guy is much more the one you could take home or to events or anything like that. Interesting.
