Are the studios letting the strike continue,so they can RESET the industry?

Back in 2000 the commercial actors strike lasted nearly six months,from May 1 until October 30.

Which gave rise to reality television (non-scripted shows).

Writer's Guild of America strike from March 7 until August 8,1988 lasted for 22 weeks.

Writer's Guild Strike April 11 until July 12,1981 lasted three months.

Hollywood has been bleeding money,losing money and this would be the perfect opportunity to start dropping expensive projects,made up positions to satisfy who exactly because the shows,series,movies didn't get any better,which is why no one is watching them.

That so called "Hollywood Diversity" unit was disbanded with Karen Horne being the first to go.

Last fall she assured "aspiring" artists that were hit with the elimination of the Warner Bros Television Workshop which for the last decade (was supposed) helped for the upcoming development of talent for people of color.

She became the FOURTH high level diversity,equity and inclusion black female executive in Hollywood to leave within 10 days.

Right now, "Hollywood" is about "What have you done for me lately?" song by Janet Jackson.

So,with these unions wanted to strike and the powers that be/gatekeepers sitting back and letting them go right ahead.

Did the Unions just fall into their plans,so they may reset the whole system with less people,non-union, international material,less streaming apps,movies being extended and not being released back-to-back?
