SO LAST NIGHT, I DID THE BIG CHOP.
And I’m SO happy. I feel so free, so liberated. In February, it would have been three years of going natural. But I NEVER did the “big chop”, I just allowed my damaged/perm hair to grow out. And I’ve been contemplating this “big chop” since like my senior year in highschool. Now, that I’m in college, there’s so much more liberty and freedom. Last night, when I chopped all my hair off I felt a release. I felt new. AND it was such a great feeling. I’m SURPRISED at how much I actually love my new hair. And how much more beautiful I felt.
