while i do love baby paramore (clearly) I cringe when i see people say that the band was “at their best” in like 2008-2009.. Imo they’re at their best rn in the modern day. like all of thrm have grown soooooo much as musicians & vocalists & its remarkable. 2024 paramore’s live performances were peak for me & its only up from here. okay byeeeee✌️

what are your thoughts on how they handled izzy on ofmd season 2? i mean in terms of characterization, character development and stuff

honesty i could probably write 2k words on it but the bottom line is while imo the way his character developed wasn’t bad per se (although i can make a case for that too lol but it’s fine) it was rushed as hell. and then to kill him off mid arc with the excuse that his story was done when they only played that story up in the first place was for drama points at his death is kinda cheap imo. but the entire season was weird with how characters developed (or didn’t) and ig that’s fair with the budget cuts plus dj saying the show is the relationship (ed/stede) like yeah ok

imo the only real issue with “political correctness” in society is people refusing to take stances

refusing to say the president (any president) is good or bad

refusing to comment on businesses doing something homophobic

referring to.... certain bad things as mildly “kinks”

whats “pc” and whats bad isnt like..... caring about things. but its just not caring and refusing to speak or think critically about something for the sake of not sparking drama

obviously there is a time and place for this stuff but if you dont want to risk your status. or a comfortable scenario in class or whatever. and just appease everyone........,, that’s the problem
