Okay, so there's gonna be a JENNY KORD in the new Blue Beetle movie? And she's described as Jaime's love interest? And Ted Kord's daughter? And she's played by a Brazilian actress???

YALL THAT DANCE SCENE WAS REAL? LIKE WE ACTUALLY GOT A TENSION FILLED HEART EYES DANCE BETWEEN GILBERT AND ANNE?? WE GOT THAT!
In stressful times like these I like to think about Ben's leg around callums waist and ben on tiptoes to kiss callum
Honestly anon that's so valid. The only time Bens height is valid is when he's on his tiptoes to kiss Callum
dangit, now i have the shred of hope that rogelio might die instead of rose i keep thinking of all the ways that this actually makes sense.
the writers were mad about one thing jsu wanted - rose dying, because a villain, wouldn’t make them near as mad as rogelio dying. rogelio dying would have little reason or logic and wouldn’t make sense from an overarching narrative standpoint - xo dying makes sense, rose dying makes sense, but ro? doesn’t make sense.
leaving rose alive when jsu knows there’s a potential spin-off in the works leaves room for a reoccurring villain to connect the two series even more than alba was supposed to. keeping rose alive for future projects and upset makes narrative sense, especially if she’s returned to villain form.
having wiggle room for villains but not giving them a happy ending still works if rose is rotting away in prison instead of dead because luisa is her happy ending.
michael coming back for a ro funeral or death scene makes sense.
UGH. SOMEONE WITH BETTER MEMORY OF THE JAFAEL WEDDING SCENES TELL ME IF RO WAS IN THEM BECAUSE I CAN’T REMEMBER AND PRETTY SURE HE WASN’T INCLUDED IN THAT LAST DAY OF SHOOTING VIDEO AND LOOK I DON’T WANT TO HOPE THAT ROSE WILL LIVE IF SHE IS ACTUALLY GOING TO DIE BECAUSE I WAS ALREADY WORRIED ABOUT HOW THAT WOULD AFFECT ME THIS WOULD BE SO MUCH WORSE.
Aaaaaaaahhhh I hate this I was having such a good day why why why why why everything was going just perfect why
Brenna: I wanna show you a picture from last night that really upset me.
Sherwood: Okay, but in my defense, Akio bet me 50 gold that I couldn’t drink all that shampoo.
Brenna: That’s not what I wanted to- you drank shampoo??!
Sherwood: What? No. You’re the one farting bubbles.
I'm curious... what lesson did you take away from N&W's relationship? That boys can't take no for an answer and a girl will ultimately always be persuaded by some rich asshole, give up all their principles and values to be with that guy? To cite W in 2x12 (after he supposedly changed sooo much): "I should ask whether you're ready [for sex] but I don't care", or earlier "don't play hard to get" --> what a great lesson especially in a season where sexual assault was a main topic. Yikes.
Hello. I don’t know why this message aims to be hateful since you have no idea what the lesson I took away is. You’ve assumed it was positive and since you’re wrong, you now like a right arsehole, don’t you?
The lesson I took away was Your feminism should always include yourself. What I love about Noora is what a great feminist she is and then her season came around and she seemed to forget about that/unable to reconcile that in her personal life. And what I love about that is that it’s true to life. Love/infatuation can turn you into someone you don’t recognise, it can make you compromise on yourself and what you believe in and it can even make you forget that your principles apply to yourself. How many girls hate fuckboys but end up making excuses for the one they fall for?
There were so many cases of their relationship being very un-feminist, for lack of a better word, some of which you’ve mentioned. Personally I watched it as more of a case study than a love story.
So what I took from it was a lesson about life and love. As a very strongly principled person and feminist myself, that to me stood out as an important lesson.
Next time, at least give someone the benefit of the doubt before getting egg all over your face. Yikes.
