Jock Passimian x Nerd Oranguru (Pokemonshipping)
Why didn't I see a single person mention this as a possible pair and ship? I mean, it has all the potential!
Imagine a loud, younger jock Passimian, maybe an openly queer college student or a college graduate, that learned all his life to be loud and proud of who he was, that is buff and loves sports and life; and pair him up with an older shy nerdy Oranguru, maybe a college professor or a librarian, that, because of his age, spent all of his life hiding the fact he likes men and that just now it's getting more comfortable about this and being true to himself, even though he does not consider himself attractive because he does not look like the stereotype of male beauty and because of his age.
It could be with pokemon gijinka (so humanized version) or furry, so more like bipedal human-like pokemon (imagine them like those in the Zourik comics - that for those of you who don't know it's a nsfw gay furry artist, go follow him on Bluesky, he is amazing).
I developed a concept that focus on them being a graduate and a librarian, since as I was so kindly reminded, I might be a bit too focused on eacher x student pairing x.x (this is a joke of course XP) you guys let me know what you think of it :3
Story premise and idea: The Passimian goes to the gay bar he usually frequents and once there notices the Oranguru, sitting all alone at a table, standing in the middle of the cheerful crowd like a sore thumb, still in some stuffy clothes like an old-timey shirt and brown pants. He decides to go see who this stranger is, never having seen him before, and once there strikes a conversation wit this nervous, older gentlman. Using his charm and friendliness he is able to have the other to open up, until he recognizes him as the librarian from his neighborhood library/bookstore, the one he used to go when he was younger and he frequented as a student for when he had to prepare his exams. Passimian finds out Oranguru had been in the closet most of his life and just now wants to try and see if he can find a possible romantic partner, even though he does not believe to be attractive or have the possibiltiy to be loved, because of his body - being more on the chubby side - and his age, being more or less middle age. Passimian, moved by his words, decides he would be his wingman and assist him in this quest for love.
Cue a story of the younger jock teaching the other to be more comfortable in his own skin and true to himself, teaching this older guy all the things he missed in life and helps him get closer to a guy, even scoring a date with him, as the two slowly get more and more closer and from strangers become good friends, helping each other in times of need, until feelings start to get in the way of what is supposed to be a simpe friendship and starts to become something much more deeper and complicated.
So, what do you guys say? Is this a story worthy of being developed? What other pokemon would you like to see in this setting? And what are some pokemonships you like and why? I'm curious, this could be fun to do, trying to make some pokemonships that involve actual pokemon in a more furry/gijinka way. Unfortunately i can't draw so I can't develope this as an artist but having story ideas could be fun ^.^
