Real quick, I just wanna bring something small to light that some people may have not heard/thought of.
While I was doing a little research for my Mpreg Ford fic, I was looking up stuff about her mom (spoiler) just to see what info I could. I was going through Google images too for possible fanart, when I found some old tweets from Alex Hirsch...
Okay, so yeah. Everyone knew she was 15, and it makes sense having lumberjack heritage, she would be tall, right? But then I got to thinking... If she is tall for her age, then wouldn't that mean all her friends are older than her? Cause, I mean, look...
They may not all be standing precisely side by side, but It gives a pretty good vantage point of how tall they are and most of her teen friends are either the same height or taller than her (which I know in some cases, height don't mean jack). So, how old are all her friends?
Well, I can't give a for sure answer to how old Robbie, Tambry, Thompson, and Lee are. Buuuuut, I can with Nate, and here's how.
One thing I always noticed with Nate is that he's the only friend in the group with tattoos. Which isn't really odd, aside from the fact that MOST 15 year olds don't have tattoos (not legally). So, I looked up the age requirements to get a tattoo in the state of Oregon.
So, there you go. There's no way Nate would have been able to get a tattoo, even if his parents signed off on it, unless he was 18 (at least in Oregon).
And as I said before, the others I can't really find a true answer to what their ages are, but for the end of this post, I'm gonna give my opinion on how old they may be.
Seeing how Wendy is closer with Tambry and Robbie, I can assume they would be in the same grade, meaning they'd be close in age. So they'd be anywhere from 15 to 16 (Robbie I feel is definitely 16 though). I believe that Thompson is older than Wendy as well, but even with that little mustache he's got going on, it's not a determining factor in how old he could be. He is shown driving his mom's old beat up van, which could mean he either has a normal drivers license (18) or a hardship license (15-17). So he may be anywhere from 16 to 18. Lastly, Lee. He's pretty close friends with Nate, so I'd assume they're around the same age, making him either 17 or 18 himself.
