Been doing some screenshot sketches of Mario and Luigi from the movie and some of the old cartoons in my sketchbook and ended up cleaning this one up in my drawing app.

This scene was from the Super Mario Bros: Super Show, the episode where Mario hits his head and wind up with amnesia. They're in the jungle and, of course, Luigi freaked himself out thinking about all the potential lurking dangers.

Even though it was a pretty short bit, I still thought it was adorable. Especially when you pause the scene just at the right frame, you'll see Mario smiling back at his lil bro in reassurance and amusement. So, how could I resist?

Here. It’s a bunch of storyboards/scenes that didn’t make the final cut. It’s an interesting watch from their original approach to the final product.

More of my art style UPDATE 1

Added 4 more lovely characters to the mix. I have just enough space for two more if I draw them a bit smaller than the rest, but I have no idea who else to draw. Other canon characters? OCs perhaps? Idk.

(I will eventually possibly redraw Gideon because though he looks like himself, he looks too much like his normal GF art style. And I didn't have enough space to complete his hair.)

Kinda the first time I've done a Journal page (I did one at one point, but it was just for the layout of the Maternity Falls Shack)

I don't remember Waddles having his own entry from Ford, so I decided to give him one! It took some painstakingly long time doing Ford's handwriting.
