With it being 1985-86 and Will Byers now living in California, I just think an au where Will befriends Daniel would be neat :’) he excitedly tells Daniel all about Alan Turing and radio communication and art and Daniel excitedly tells him about karate and Mr. Miyagi and cars and bonsais, and they discover they have similar music tastes, and Joyce meets Lucille and Mr. Miyagi and everyone is friends/family and nothing hurts :’)
