First Date | 1966 | Ludo & Portia

Ludo stood nervously behind the herbology green houses. He was waiting for his date to arrive. He worked up the courage to ask her on a date, although he did when no one was around he was still proud of himself. He was also glad that he asked her in private due to the fact that she was worried that the news she was going on a date with a Hufflepuff might of upset her parents. 

Ludo paced up and down the length of the green house while he waited for her, he had a small bunch of roses in his hands. His mother told him that bringing them was very important. He also had a small necklace in a small box in his pocket for after if the date went well. Ludo heard someone approaching from behind and was ready to give them some of the excuses he had thought up when he saw her. He was taken back by how beautiful she was. “Hi” he smiled “I’m glad you came”

Fallen | 1966 | OPEN

Sebastian flew around the pitch as fast as he could. He completed three laps before trying to swerve around the stands. He was trying to improve his skills before the next game. He felt some what responsible for Hufflepuffs poor game as he had only managed to score three goals. He had been pushing himself harder than normal by practicing every chance he got and getting up even earlier to run longer.

Sebastian flew as close to the ground as he felt comfortable, his feet skimmed across the ground as he weaved around. As he began to turn around to head back in the other direction his foot caught on the ground and he came off. “Ow” he groaned, grateful that he hadn’t been higher “That wasn’t what was suppose to happen”

Daddy Troubles (1976) | Open

Severus squinted at the robot baby sitting on the table in front of him. Two days into the project, and his baby had done nothing. It hadn’t cried, it hadn’t eaten, moved, laughed . . .  it had just sat there, motionless, staring at him with glossy eyes.

It wasn’t that Severus hadn’t tried. He picked it up, changed its clothes, bathed it, laid it down for naps. Nothing. 

“Typical,” he muttered. He’d always been the odd-man out, and apparently fatherhood was to be no exception. Everyone else’s babies cried, laughed, ate, and made messes. And his just sat there. 

He sighed angrily, and looked away from his defunct baby as he began eating his breakfast.

She’s gone // Summer of 1996 // Daisy & Susan

Susan had spent the whole day at a friends house. She had given her aunt a kiss and a cuddle and their normal exchange of I love you’s before she left. She was about to leave the her friends house to head home for dinner when she heard what sounded like her uncle’s voice in the living room. It was him, he had been crying and Susan was incredibly confused. That’s when he explained, Amelia had been murdered.

Susan was stunned no, no she hasn’t but no matter how hard she wished it wasn’t true it didn’t matter. Amelia had been murdered, by You Know Who himself. Susan didn’t know what to do. She sat in her uncle’s arms for a while but she knew what she need was a hug from her aunt, her other aunt.

Susan gave Fredrick a big hug and promised she would be back. She told him were she was going and thanked her friends mother for her support. Susan grabbed a handful of floo powder and tried to steady her voice. She called out her destination as clearly as possible and with a roar of green flames she appeared at her destination.

Tears were streaming down Susan’s face, she couldn’t stop them. “Aunt Daisy? Aunt Daisy where are you” She called out hoping her aunt was here.

Blood and Potions | Severus & Lupin

It had been a week, and nothing had changed. Hogwarts still had classes, meals, and breaks. Students flowed in and out of the castle, falling in love, falling out of love, making friends, loosing friends, taking tests, studying for homework. The professor’s routines hadn’t changed.

Severus’s whole life had changed a week ago, but the rest of the world stayed the same. Typical.

He walked to potions class alone. The dungeon was his safe haven, the one place where he could hold his ground against any one and anything, and he didn’t want that feeling of safety taken away by a large, smothering crowd.

He entered the empty classroom, and began setting up for the day. Slughorn wasn’t a particularly creative teacher, so Severus really didn’t have to worry about him straying from the book. Today they would be going over Angel’s Trumpet Drought, a particular favorite of his that he had been itching to experiment on. It was also just complex enough to force his classmates into relative silence and concentration to complete it, leaving him in peace.

He went over the ingredients and steps as he waited for his classmates, mentally substituting some ingredients for others, and calculating the potential outcome. He glanced up -- more out of habit than anything -- as the last of the stragglers entered the room and made eye contact with Remus Lupin. The last person in the world he wanted to see.

Starting Over || 1976 (Severus & Lily)

Severus stood in the hallway outside the Potions classroom, shifting his weight from foot to foot. Normally, he’d just enter but today . . .

Today was the first Potion’s class of 6th year. The first N.E.W.T class Severus would ever take. It was also the first Potion’s class where he wouldn’t be with Lily.

Every year, since first year, they had worked together in Potions class. Laughing, experimenting, studying. But now . . . after what he’d said . .  She hadn’t spoken to him all summer, hadn’t even looked at him in the Great Hall. When she’d told him she was done, she had apparently meant it.

He took a deep breath, and entered the room by himself.

Serves You Right (1976) | Marlene & Severus

Severus could not possibly have felt worse about himself if he tried. It had barely been two days since he’d called Lily a. .  name, but it felt like years had passed. Lily wouldn’t even look at him. If she saw him in the library, in the halls, she would turn around instantly and walk away without a backwards glance.

Word spread like wildfire. Severus didn’t really pay much attention to what was said, but he did note that people looked at him differently. Often times, they whispered as he passed. He was used to being on the outside, used to being alone, but this . . . knowing he’d caused the best thing to ever happen to him to walk out of his life . . . knowing he’d hurt her that bad . . . it was killing him.

“SNAPE!”

Severus involuntarily turned at the sound of his name, just in time to feel a hand crash into his cheek.
