Favorite Photos of Armie Hammer - 028: A good look.
one of my favorite scenes from political animalsÂ
Pure | 1976 | Atticus and Elizabeth
Atticus wasnât particularly fond of his second youngest ever since she failed to be sorted into Slytherin. It made his job in finding her a suitable husband far more difficult than it would have been had she only done as was expected of her. âAh yes, is your youngest doing well? One of your lot had to turn out half decent at some point,â he mused with a devilish smile. He wasnât overly fond of anyone very much but he didnât mind Fredrick so much. He had potential and it was just a happy coincidence that his blood traitor father was driven up the wall by that simple fact. âDetails, details,â he waved his hand dismissively, âThese things can be helped, I have my ways of making sure she isnât being too friendly with the likes of your⊠children.â He finished off his glass of champagne and gave it to a passing waiter. âWell, thatâs just part of the problem. Itâs becoming more difficult to work out a suitable betrothal, weâve had to start looking a little bit out of her age range. No man wants an intelligent woman.â
âFredrick is just fine thank youâ Elizabeth nodded, it wasnât exactly true. Sebastian was getting harder and harder on him. Elizabeth rolled her eyes âAt least my children get to be children and not objects for auctionâ  she shuttered in disgust.âHow old Atticus?â she snarled, no way in hell would she let her niece be forced to marry a man too much older than herself. âThatâs full of shit you remember how many boys wanted meâ
My Legacy | 2002 AU | Susan & Elizabeth
Susan could feel tears forming in her own eyes, she pulled away and looked her grandmother in the eye, a small and hopefully somewhat reassuring smile on her face. âHey, itâs okay. I wasnât alone - Iâve never been alone. Aunt Amelia didnât die until-â she took a deep breath. It always hurt to talk about her aunt, especially her death. âUntil a few years ago, in the second war. Donât think for a moment that I was ever alone, she made sure I wasnât.â She said with a smile. âI have mum and dad now, and Mason.â She fought back her own tears at the same time.
Elizabeth couldnât help but smile when she heard the mention of Amelia but it left as quickly as it came âMy baby girl. Why, what happened? Who?â Elizabeth wanted to scream and cry. She failed as a parent. She didnât keep them safe âShe loved you like you were her own. She would of taken you in herself if Sebastian didnât firstâ Elizabeth stood a little straighter. She was determined to make it right. âIf Iâm back does that mean they will be?â
My Legacy | 2002 AU | Susan & Elizabeth
âOh, um, no. I mean my real dad. Fredrick,â Susan said slowly, immediately feeling and about instilling false hope in her grandmother. âThey- theyâre all gone. Itâs just me, Mason, dad and Layla. Laylaâs my little sister,â she explained, trying to keep her tone calm and even with some sort of reassurance in it. After a few moments of contemplation, Su stepped forward and hugged Elizabeth. It felt awkward, misplaced and strange given the fact that they hardly knew each other but she hoped it offered some sort of comfort.
âThatâs it?â Elizabeth gulped âFredrick, Mason and you was the only ones to make it?â Elizabeth was suddenly overcome with grief and was very glad Susan had agreed to give her a hug. She held her tightly for a few moments trying to ignore the awkwardness in it. âI need to help. I need to help with something pleaseâ She said while fighting back tears. âIâm so sorry you had to grow up like that baby, it was never meant to be like this. You were never meant to be aloneâ
My Legacy | 2002 AU | Susan & Elizabeth
The only way Susan was able to get through this conversation at all was by taking her usual business tone and pretending that this was just another case and not her deceased grandmother wondering if her family were still alive. She didnât want to be the one to deliver the bad news that only one of her children had survived and the fact that she knew that her siblings werenât actually her siblings after all and that they were dead too. She thought that she would be over it by now but she wasnât, perhaps she never would be. âMy dad and Mason are alive and well,â was all that she could say, forgetting entirely that her grandmother still assumed that she thought Junior was her father. âIâm sorry.â
âSebastian and Mason are okay thatâs a good startâ Elizabeth sighed in relief âWhat about the others? Where are your siblings, surely they would of followed their father into the ministry too? Amelia would be a high ranking official by now surely?â Elizabeth stared at the young girl in front of her âI could really use a hug right nowâ she muttered
My Legacy | 2002 AU | Susan & Elizabeth
Susan folded her arms across her chest as if to protect herself from how awful this felt. She didnât know how she was supposed to explain the fact that it had been over twenty years since this office was rightfully hers in the first place and since she last saw her. âNo, itâs not a joke. Whatâs going on is that youâre supposed to be dead and somehow, youâre not any more. Iâm afraid thatâs all I know of the situation,â she said. âIâm afraid thatâs not the case, Mrs Bones.â It didnât feel right addressing her as such but she couldnât exactly call her Gran. âConsidering You Know Who is dead, not very much then?â
Elizabeth stared at the woman in front of her. She had only told her what she already knew from the people at saint mungos. âI already know that. I donât remember it but Iâve been told it happenedâ Elizabeth looked her up and down she was still coming to grips with everything and the fact this was her baby granddaughter standing in front of her all grown up âDonât call me that. If you really are my granddaughter you donât have to call me thatâ Elizabeth straightened up again. She couldnât believe he was finally gone. âMy children did they..make it? Where are your cousin and sisters and brother?â She wasnât sure she really wanted an answer to her first question but was desperate to find her other grandchildren and make sure they were okay.
My Legacy | 2002 AU | Susan & Elizabeth
Susanâs day had been lengthy to say the least. First of all there were claims that the dead were seemingly rising from their graves without an explanation which was totally ridiculous. Everyone knew that death couldnât be cured. Reanimated, sure, but back to life with all of your memories still in tact? Completely impossible. She had been in her office for most of the day trying to sort out what claims she would have to pursue but for the most part they were completely stupid and involved deceased relatives trying to claim back their family homes. She didnât believe any of them, it was all probably just some elaborate hoax for attention. Any time now someone would step forward and take responsibility.
Su looked up when someone opened the door, fully prepared for it to be someone bringing in another pile of claims, most of which she would have to dismiss. She certainly wasnât expecting her grandmother to walk in looking exactly like she did in the pictures her aunt used to show her. She sat up a little bit straighter, not quite believing what she was seeing. The headline of the Prophet replayed in her head, the dead are rising! âUm-â she stood up and walked around her table, âActually, Iâm quite capable of reading,â she sat down pointedly next to the name plaque that read Susan A. Bones. She wasnât so certain if this really was her grandmother, the last thing she wanted to do was not treat her like anyone else just in case. âCan I help you?â The words sounded forced.
âIs this some kind of joke?â Elizabeth asked, Susan Bones was her baby granddaughter who loved cuddles not some twenty something sitting behind a desk in the Ministry. âYou can tell me what the hell is going on to start with because I donât understand who a you could possibly be Susan A. Bones because she is a bloody babyâ Elizabeth stood straighter, she wondered if it was some kind of trick by voldemort and his lot of hoods. âIf I find you have so much as laid a finger on my granddaughter I will rain down on you so damn hard you will fear me more than you know whoâ

Elizabeth had spent most of her time since awakening in Saint Mungos. They wanted to check she was okay and were constantly reassuring her she was safe. She didnât care if she was safe. She needed to know her family was safe but they said it was up to her to contact them. Once she was discharged she went straight home to the manor but found no one home. She wasnât willing to wait for anyone so she went to the next place she could think of, the Ministry. She knew she would find three of her four children there.
She ignored the stare of some of the older workers and headed straight for her office. She was relieved to see the name Bones on the door. She knew that the people at Saints Mungoâs were lying. There was no way her family was dead and that the dark lord was defeated a few years ago. She turned the door handle and entered the office and was surprised to see someone sitting behind the desk in her chair. âWho do you think you are?â She asked accusingly âThis is my office, canât you read? Youâre not a member of my familyâ
Pure | 1976 | Atticus and Elizabeth
Atticus raised an amused eyebrow. Some things never changed and clearly his sisterâs ability to talk back wasnât one of them which certainly was disappointing. âHave you ever considered that that might just be because there isnât really much shit one can say of my children?â He stated, taking a sip from the champagne in his hand. He had to admit that he was disappointed in his sister and definitely made no effort to hide that. If she wanted to be so incredibly ungrateful and throw away the perfect life that their parents had so kindly laid out for them then so be it. Laying on some barely-passable insults was really the least he could do. In all honesty it was simply the fact that Sebastian was the complete opposite of everything he admired in a man.
Atticus sneered slightly as Elizabeth told him her childrenâs âachievementsâ. âPortia has just gotten a promotion at work, in the Law Enforcement Department. Perseus has just been made the Junior Assistant to the Minister For Magic,â he stated proudly. âGerard was sorted into Slytherin. My guess is heâll be a fine addition. He wants to play for the quidditch team, impossible to stop him from trying to try out for the team. Mind you, I bet he would be better than half of the kids already,â he laughed but lacked humour. âI must ask how you know about Aurora?â He asked suspiciously. âI hope she hasnât been consorting with your lot too much. Bad example, honestly. Weâre already having a hard enough time with her.â
âThanks fantastic to hearâ Elizabeth smiled genuinely. She was glad to hear that her niece and nephews were doing well. âIâm sure he will be a fine player. Iâm sure Fredrick will keep me postedâ Elizabeth rolled her eyes at her brother âSheâs in the same year as my youngest son dumbass and only a year younger than my twins. As much as you donât want her associating with my family itâs going to happen because they go to the same schoolâ Elizabeth raised an eyebrow and smirked at her brother a little âWhat has she been doing? Talking to people you donât like?â
1978 | Condolences | OPEN
Elizabeth smiled softly at Alecto, she looked lost. âIâm sorry sweetheart, I wish I knew something to helpâ She wished that she could say something, anything, that would help her. Elizabeth looked at the little kitten in Alectoâs arms âI think youâve got a good friend there though, Iâm sure that having it would make things a little bit easier. Whatâs itâs name?â
Alecto offered a small smile, a fake smile though, but she didnât need to know that. âIt is what it isâŠâ she sighed. âHe put up a fight for what Iâve heardâ she added and did an impressive job on not smirking. He did not put up a fight, it was so easy and she would gladly bring him back to life to kill him again.
âOhâ she chuckled a little, this time a genuine chuckle. Alecto had always wanted a cat but of course, her father never let her have one. âThis is Rubyâ she told her as her finger scratched softly behind the kittenâs ear.
"Ruby? Thats a lovely name" Elizabeth smiled, it was the name of her granddaughter after all. Elizabeth wanted to ask how Amycus was handling the death of their father but now that Alecto seemed a little happy she didn't want to take that way. "Did you just buy her?" She asked. She figured it was pretty obvious that she did but Elizabeth didn't want to change the subject to something that would upset her.
Fallen | 1966 | OPEN
Bellatrix had decided to go for a walk today to clear her mind. Things had beenâŠunpleasant the last few weeks and she couldnât stop the thoughts from consuming her lately. The fresh air was supposed to help, a walk around the grounds without anyone to bother her. She had made her way all the way towards the Quidditch pitch just in time to see someone fall right onto their arse.
She walked over to him him and looked down at him with a smirk on her lips, it was Sebastian Bones, a pureblood Hufflepuff. âI donât care if that was what was supposed to happen, either way it was fucking hilarious,â she smirked. Despite her better judgement, she held her hand out to him, offering to help him up.
"I'm glad you took some enjoyment out of it" Sebastian chuckled and took her hand and pulled himself up off the ground with her help. "Thank you " he nodded and picked his broom up. "I'll get it soon enoughâ
Fallen | 1966 | OPEN
âDonât test my will power, Bones.â she mumbled honestly after a moment. There was no point denying that she was incredibly attracted to him yet it could never happen, she simply wouldnât allow it. She cleared her throat awkwardly as she focused on anything but his face, her own cheeks highlighted with a bright flattered blush. âTrust me itâs one of more polite ways Iâve heard.â The Slytherin prefect offered a little smile, she leaned over to get a better view of his knee. She lived with Daisy and Victoria, both getting multiple injuries weekly. Daisy due to clumsiness and Victoria because of her adventuring; this was easy work in comparison.
Sebastian stared at her for a moment. He couldn't help it, she was far too beautiful to look away and he couldn't help it. He couldn't help but smile and watch her awkwardly avoid his gaze. He thought her blushing was rather cute. "Its just a scratch." He repeated and tried to catch her eye again. "So healer Hookum, is my knee going to need amputation?" He joked.
Pure | 1976 | Atticus and Elizabeth
Atticus couldnât have been more different from his sister if he tried. For a start he didnât particularly enjoy spending time with his family. Not that he didnât love them, somewhere deep down he thought of them as more than a business deal but for the most part thatâs what they were to him. Business. Family was just another opportunity to satisfy his own needs in the form of riches and power.
Atticus didnât think very highly of his sister to start with never mind when she decided to marry herself off to a blood traitor. There was a brief time when he expected great things of her, even looked up to her in a strange sort of way as any young lad would but that had quickly been eradicated when she showed her true colours. He wandered over to her with an obnoxious amount of confidence that he always held, picking up a glass of champagne from a passing tray. He shook his head dismissively, âPointless details,â he said before setting his eyes on hers, looking at her properly, searching for a way in which he could make it clear how highly he thought himself to be. He almost wished his wife was here to reaffirm his point but no, this would be far more fun on his own. âNow that doesnât sound like me at all. Iâm certainly not a show off, I just state facts.â He smiled, âBut where to start, hm?â He paused for a moment to take a sip of his drink, âPerhaps we should start with your litter. How are that dear so called family of yours?â
Elizabeth rolled her eyes and half hoped that he broke his leg on his way over so he couldn't talk to her. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. "Children" she corrected "They are children not puppies. I don't talk shit about your kids so don't talk shit about mine" She hated when he spoke badly of her children, she thought that once they were born he might be a little more kind to Sebastian and the children but that hadn't happened. It seemed like it had gotten worse, she often wondered if he was holding on to the hope that she would come back to the family and leave Sebastian but that wasn't the case, she loved him far too much to leave him. Even if he was an asshole to her baby boy.
"They are fine. Sebastian is working as a lawyer full time and is excepting his second child and the younger three are in school still and are doing well." She explained proudly. "What about your family. I know how Aurora is doing but what about the others. Not growing up to be like their father I hope?"

Atticus loved pureblood balls. It was a simple and likely a well known fact. It wasnât necessarily because he got to catch up with old âfriendsâ or be filled in on the latest familial disasters in the community whilst he watched the person whom they were talking about desperately try to fit in again although everyone knew they never would - those things were fun too but mainly it was because he got the chance to relentlessly brag about his own family. True, they had their faults and werenât perfect but he was very very good at hiding that from the rest of the pureblood society. He made her his family was viewed in exactly the light he wanted them to be, embracing the parts that were perfect - which was most of them .
Atticus stood at the edge of the room watching the ball unfold with a look of great amusement. He loved watching the idiots of society trying to climb their way up the ranks to join those who knew they were far superior. He looked around the room in search of someone else that he could perhaps brag relentlessly to or maybe work out a betrothal deal for his two youngest. Upon seeing a familiar flash of red hair he ditched those plans and stood up to his full height, straightening his tie. This would be interesting. âWell if it isnât my least favourite sister,â he called out with a smirk.
One of Elizabethâs least favourite ways to spend a night was at a pureblood ball. As a child she loved them, it gave her an opportunity to dress up all fancy and dance with people. Now it took away the time she could be spending with her husband or children at home. She would much prefer being stuck at work then being here.Â
Elizabeth smiled and spoke to those who wanted to talk to her. It would be wrong to ignore people or be rude to them just because she didnât want to be there. She hid towards the back of the room and watched all the different people dance and show off anything they could when she noticed a familiar face. Elizabeth groaned, her brother was strutting around the place probably to boast about something that he brought for his mansion. Elizabeth looked away and hoped that he hadnât spotted her. Much to her disappointment he had. "Well it's not very hard when I'm your only sister" she quipped back "Why don't you come over here and tell me whatever it is your trying to show off about? I'm sure your going to rub it into my face anyway"
