WAFFLESNCREAM is raising funds to donate to the Lagos Food Bank Initiative in Nigeria to help with the distribution of resources for those that do not have enough. 100% of the proceeds from the Agege Tee is donated to the Lagos Food Bank Initiative.

They have raised ₦90,000 (about $230) so far, and the shirts (along with other WNC merch) are still available for purchase. Each shirt is ₦9,000.00 (or £35.00), and it comes in three colors: white, pink and black.

Anyone have any idea why my yeast isnt rising or foaming?

The first one has been proofing for 20+ minutes. I followed the container instructions. 1/2 warm water(105°F), 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 2 1/4 teaspoons of active yeast.

The second one has been proofing for 8 minutes. 1/2 warm water(105°F) 1 teaspoon of sugar, and with 2 tablespoons of active yeast.

House temp is 75°F and kind of on the dryer side.
