what is your full name? beau david clary.
where and when were you born? may 19, 1973 in bellevue, washington.
who are your parents? jack and aimee clary.
do you have any siblings? what are they like? beau has three older siblings ! one older brother and two older twin sisters. his brother is the eldest, the twins came next, and beau is the baby of the family. they’re all pretty tight knit and the age difference between all of them is pretty even. growing up, all of his siblings teased and messed with him a bunch since he was the youngest, but squared up to anyone else who tried to do the same. also, they’re all married to their soulmates.
where do you live now, and with whom? beau lives in st. augustine with his spouse in a really cute bungalow a handful of blocks away from the beach !
what is your occupation? wedding planner.
write a full physical description of yourself. you might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. beau is a white male. he’s 5′11″ and fairly lanky. his hair is dark brown, grows a little past his ears, and is curly in texture. because of his job, he’s usually in business casual clothes ( fitted jeans, button-ups, a boujee pair of white trainers, etc. ), but when he’s not working he wears a lot of 80s inspired stuff ( high-waisted jeans, baggy shirts, tiny jogging shorts, etc. ).
to which social class do you belong? upper-middle class.
do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? he’s got pretty standard seasonal allergies. as a kid, he had asthma, but it’s not a problem anymore. there’s an inhaler somewhere in his house.

what does your voice sound like? beau’s natural talking voice is lower than you’d expect ! he talks with a lot of earnest if that makes any sense, likes to choose his words carefully, however is completely capable of rambling when nervous. when he’s speaking with clients he has a tendency to speak in a higher register and is a little more clipped with his words.
what words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? he really tries not to say “like” a lot, but it’s his brain’s go-to filler word so...
what do you have in your pockets? wallet, keys, phone. standard stuff.
GROWING UP (2/7)
how would you describe your childhood in general? beau had a stellar childhood. warm family, lovely neighborhood. his family liked to take a lot of weekend vacations to places sorta nearby like vancouver or portland !
what is your earliest memory? having an ice cream on lake tahoe in the summer of ‘78.
how much schooling have you had? beau holds a highschool diploma and a bachelor’s in business management from washington state university.
did you enjoy school? sorta ! honestly, for all the wrong reasons. beau had quite a few friends in high school and partied a little too hard in college. his grades we eh.
where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? probably in school where he developed most of his social skills growing up. he worked a few summer jobs throughout high school and college which taught him a lot of practical skills too.
while growing up, did you have any role models? if so, describe them. bisexual icon david bowie, because well.... duh. both of his parents, tbh. beau always marveled at just how perfect he thought they were for each other, especially since they were soulmates.
while growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? he got along all of his siblings pretty well ! he’s closer with his eldest brother since his twin sisters have each other to be super tight-knit with. he tells his siblings almost everything. or at least he used to. also, he’s a total momma’s boy.
as a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? a married fireman. the married bit was very essential.
as a child, what were your favorite activities? going to the beach, playing piano, making weddings for his stuffed animals lmao.
as a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? beau was such a loud, outgoing kid !!!! he had no problem with making new friends and honestly, he was pretty spoiled as he was the youngest in the family.
as a child, were you popular? who were your friends, and what were they like? yeah, sorta ? he was really close with all the other kids that lived on his street. they’d go over to each others houses and all their parents were friends.
when and with whom was your first kiss? beau’s first kiss was in the 6th grade, and it was a baby peck on the lips with one of the kids that lived on his street, anna.
are you a virgin? if not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? no. beau lost his virginity to his spouse in his junior year of high school. fun fact: he’s never slept with anyone else.
PAST INFLUENCES (3/7)
what do you consider the most important event of your life so far? getting married.
who has had the most influence on you? both of his parents ! they really taught him what love between two soulmates can be like.
what do you consider your greatest achievement? probably establishing a good reputation as a wedding planner in somewhere as competitive for his job as in st. augustine.
what is your greatest regret? he’d never admit this to anyone ( cough maybe to muse h/andrew, but i digress cough cough ), but he seriously regrets getting married before he turning twenty-one. he still loves his spouse more than anything it’s just...complicated lmao.
what is the most evil thing you have ever done? keeping the fact that his marriage is on the rocks from his family. it seriously eats away at him, but he’s sort of ashamed/embarrassed/worried he’d disappoint them in some way if he told them the truth.
do you have a criminal record of any kind? nope.
when was the time you were the most frightened? probably when he was on the cusp of turning twenty-one. it was a super stressful time too.
what is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you? he didn’t feel embarrassed at the time, but there’s a vhs tape of beau singing ‘can’t take my eyes off of you’ at his wedding and he’s very, very drunk. there are multiple copies of tape. it’s also been burned on a cd or two. and has even somehow found its way onto facebook.
if you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? he would’ve waited to get married.
what is your best memory? all the times he’d stay up late on the phone with his spouse in college.
what is your worst memory? the time immediately after turning twenty-one when he began to realize that his spouse isn’t his soulmate.

what is your greatest fear? dying before finding his soulmate. but, also his spouse leaving him. it’s complicated.
what are your religious views? beau was raised episcopalian christian. he doesn’t attend church regularly anymore, but will go every now and then. there’s a bible somewhere in his house and he likes to say grace over dinner every night. there are certain principles he still lives by: the importance of being kind to your neighbor, honoring your parents, etc.
what are your political views? lmao beau grew up in washington state so he’s pretty left-leaning. he’s consistently voted democrat since turning eighteen. he’s the type to vote democrat straight down the ballot without knowing much about every candidate.
what are your views on sex? he enjoys it. a lot. especially with the person he loves.
are you able to kill? no, never.
in your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? any sort of parental abuse.
do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? 1000x yes.
how honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? beau is really great at sweeping away all his troubles beneath a smile. he’s so good at convincing others that everything’s fine, that he can convince himself of it too.
do you have any biases or prejudices? beau has a lot of difficulty understanding people that don’t care about finding their soulmate.
is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? why do you refuse to do it? beau could never cheat on his spouse as a way of “getting back at them.” for one thing he has absolutely no desire to sleep with anyone that isn’t his spouse, and it wouldn’t solve any of their marriage’s problems.

in general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? beau is super polite and friendly ! honestly, it might be to a fault. sometimes people will think he’s hitting on them. beau is definitely a touch-feely guy especially with his friends.
who is the most important person in your life, and why? his spouse. there are very few other people that know him as well as they do. and he’s so mcfreakin’ in love with them, okay.
who is the person you respect the most, and why? his mom. she’s just a real champ in every way. she’s endlessly compassionate, but at the same time has no time for bullshit.
who are your friends? do you have a best friend? beau has a ton of friends ! from former clients in st. augustine, to friends from college, and friends from childhood. as for his best friend, that’d probably be muse h/andrew !
do you have a spouse or significant other? if so, describe this person. yes !! lmao seeing as his spouse is a character that’s gonna be played by another person, i’ll just go over beau’s thoughts on them. beau looks at his spouse like they hung the fucking stars. he spent most of highschool thinking they were wayyYY out of his league -- - even while they were dating. if he ever plans on confronting them about cheating on him he knows he’d easily forgive them. if they split ( which low key i can see it happening ) they’ll always be endlessly special to him.
what do you look for in a potential lover? someone charming that can make him laugh often.
how close are you to your family? very close ! especially with his siblings. less so recently, but he keeps in close contact with them despite the distance.
have you started your own family? if so, describe them. he’s just got his spouse ! beau definitely wants kids, he’s just not ready for them yet.

what is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? beau loves to read, play piano, take polaroids of everything/everyone around him, and he journals a lot too. he loves loves loves the beach.

what, if anything, do you like to read? beau likes to read a lot of literature, dumb romance novels, and memoirs.

do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? if so, why? do you want to quit? how do you spend a typical saturday night? beau smoked some weed in college because it was college lmao. he likes to indulge on a glass of wine or a bottle of beer often, but saves getting wasted at his favorite bar for when he’s feeling down ( btw, i don’t advocate that behavior ). when he’s super in the dumps he’ll smoke a few cigarettes too. honestly, he’s probably attending a wedding on the job on most saturday nights.
what makes you laugh? dumb dad jokes and the humor of “the office.”
what, if anything, shocks or offends you? this was mentioned earlier, but beau never fails to be shocked by people who don’t want to find their soulmate.
what would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? he’d play piano if he knew it wouldn’t disturb his neighbors or spouse. also netflix, probably.
how do you deal with stress? beau will go for a jog when he’s really stressed from his job. or have a “treat yourself” afternoon/evening. also, he tries to write everything down to keep himself from forgetting and stressing over things.
are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? beau can appreciate spontaneity, but prefers plans.
what are your pet peeves? folks that don’t tip. that’s the main one.

describe the routine of a normal day for you. how do you feel when this routine is disrupted? coffee and breakfast. then he sits in bed and answers e-mails/phone calls usually. after that it all depends on whether or not he’s got errands or meetings lined up. he likes to be back home by dinner though. it stresses him out when he doesn’t have the time to do the e-mail/phone call thing in the morning. also, coffee and breakfast first thing in the morning is absolutely essential for him.
what is your greatest strength as a person? beau’s just got a big heart, okay.
what is your greatest weakness? lmao see answer above. it can be easy for him to get so caught up in making sure everything/everyone around him is fine that he forgets to take care of himself.
