xisuma is genderless/sexless, being a voidwalker, except he also no concept of gender and therefore sexuality either (people have naturally used he/they so it's just his default answer if anyone asks). this has led to a couple misunderstandings
when joe (genderqueer/genderfluid) and cleo (non binary) came out, everyone was supportive except they noticed x didn't really say anything, so the two wanted to confront them about this. their talk quickly devolves into cleo and joe frantically trying to explain what the heck gender is lol (they aren't that good at it)
