This Pinkie wasn’t part of the lot from a couple months ago, but my mom found her at a thrift shop! My mom always seems to find the coolest ponies for some reason.
She’s part of the Pink and Fabulous release line, and I honestly love this color palette for her? The black and white is such a nice contrast to the pink, and it makes it so vibrant! She was super dirty and gross, too, but her hair was surprisingly clean? It was mostly her body that was gross, but I cleaned her up while my datemate @agendercadence was here along with Rarity and Party Cake, and it’s fun co-restoring with someone! It makes the experience more interesting, I think!
But yeah, we gave her sweet curls and she’s super pretty!! I’m glad she’s in my collection!
McDonald’s 2005 Butterscotch is the fourth pony in my Datemate Birthday Trip series!! She’s my first Butterscotch, and I think she looks adorable! I love how elegant her eyes look, and her pose makes her look rly sassy! Her hair frizz was insane, but I managed to fix it with a wash and a heat treatment! She was in pretty good shape for a McDonald’s toy, but I’m happy to have this little cutie in my collection!
And here we have Rarity, the seventh pony in my Datemate Birthday Trip series! Had it not been for @agendercadence telling me that Rarity is a long-haired pony, I would’ve never guessed due to how short her mane and tail got cut! The little kid who owned her last probably got frustrated with her long hair and chopped it short, which is sad bc the long-haired ponies are so pretty. 8C But, I was able to work with what I had, and I managed to give Rarity a cute 50′s bob-like hairstyle! She also had some warped legs, but I was able to fix it with the same method I used with Rainbow Flash! Ironically enough, Rarity’s the first unicorn I got for both G3 and G4, with G4 Rarity being my first unicorn and G4 pony! Kind of funny how things work out like that, huh?
Here’s brushable Cheerilee, the second set in the ponies I got with my datemate @agendercadence while visiting them for their birthday in July (I’m gonna call this series the Datemate Birthay Trip series, heehee)!! I honestly love Cheerilee’s color palette and design (her body color is my favorite color, which is fuchsia), so I was rly happy to get her during my datemate and I’s thrift store haul!! She’s like Fluttershy in the fact that she’s also a budget bag pony, bu I still love her!!
She has WAY more hair than Fluttershy, which I found odd. She has a lot more plugs of hair than the Fluttershy I have, and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because Fluttershy’s hair is longer, so Hasbro thought they wouldn’t have to give her as much hair as the others? Idk, but in any case, I’m super proud of how Cheerilee’s curls came out, especially her front curl!! It’s so big and swooshy and I think it fits her rly well!! She’s one of my favorite ponies color-wise and I’m happy to have her!! Now to see if I can get a G3 Cheerilee. >83c
And here we have the first in the long-awaited set of ponies I got with my datemate @agendercadence while I was visiting them for their birthday in July!! It’s a budget bag brushable Fluttershy!! The worst that she had was dry tangled hair and a dirty body, but a good wash and heat treatment fixed that right up! She was actually the first pony I tried out the heat treating method @agendercadence uses for their ponies, and I gotta say, I think I did a pretty good job for my first try! I tried to match her hair how it is in the show, and I think I got pretty close! Even if she is a budget bag pony, I’m happy to have her in my collection!
(Also sorry about the weird lighting; I took the after pictures in the afternoon instead of in the morning like I usually do.)
And here we have the third pony in my Datemate Birthday Trip series: McDonald’s 25th Anniversary Minty! She’s my first Minty and I love her! The worst she had was dry frizzy hair, but that was an easy fix; her paint wasn’t even chipped at all! I’m also rly happy with how her curl came out! She’s so fancy and cute and I love her to pieces! Hopefully I’ll be able to get an actual G3 Minty in my collection, but for now I’m happy with my little McDonald’s version!
I got some ponies at some antique shops today with @agendercadence!!
