Who is Iblis? and how is he connected to your Tredd furia. I see him around but I don't really know his story.

Iblis Furia is an OC of mine who lived at the same time as Ardyn and Somnus. Like Tredd, he’s a spellsmith -- that is, a blacksmith that can attach spells to his work. Spellsmiths craft blades that have elemental affinities or tricks like the daggers Ignis used in Altissia. They’re pretty rare.

Due to having that rare ability, he was apprenticed to smiths working for the Lucis Caelum family and grew up around Ardyn, Somnus, and Aera. He was more loyal to Ardyn than to Somnus, and eventually succumbed to Starscourge whilst trying to free Ardyn from Angelgarde. He became a terrifying daemon and was put down by Somnus.

Tredd is more or less his reincarnation, some 2000 years or so later.

I haven’t seen it yet but now I’m just filled with “oh no” Because I have a distinct dread that they are going to completely misunderstand Luke’s character in order to make him “cool”

I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR PORTRAYAL OF LUKE SKYWALKER

he’s such a good and important character for so many positive reasons and it feels like they’re ignoring all of that to make him very broken, and while i have nothing against characters reacting strongly to trauma, i fundamentally do not like the idea of taking a positive and hopeful character and making it look like their worldview was misguided and ultimately worthless

What exactly is that rock made of

mostly? white chocolate chips. there’s some other stuff to hold it together, and some oreos/cocoa powder to make it look rock-like, but it did in fact primarily involve an unholy amount of white chocolate. it was sort of a failed fudge and i have far too much of it left over

Yeah, there is just something about eight and the way mcgann portrays him. (Honestly i always appreciated moffat for pseudo canonizing a lot of the 8 audios in night of the doctor.)

YEAH that one line, “charlie, c’rizz, lucie, tamsin, molly” was a big deal when the minisode came out, i remember it vividly
