Hm... that's a good question. I think it'd depend on the android and its perception of itself! If their identity would depend entirely on being robotic, sure, electric sheep would be the thing they dream of. If they felt connected to humanity instead, I think their sheep would be normal. Well, assuming they dream and dream of sheep anyway!

In a way, yeah. Not completely, I wouldn't ditch my physical body, but it wouldn't be.. my everything. I know it'd be scary

That's a complicated question. Are the parents loving? Does the kid live somewhere on-site, or are they kept safe and far away from it all? I don't want to say it would be better point blank. Family is important, if the family is good. Though running away would greatly reduce the chance of the kid growing up to be a Foundation scientist themself
