agent-del replied to your post:Hey Wash? I heard you were planning on training recovery agents.
If you need a third, I’m up for it.
i'll... consider it, unfortunately you're... well, kinda young kiddo.
Hey Wash? I heard you were planning on training recovery agents.
Yep! I've already got two new candidates selected.
agent-del replied to your post:another beacon? jesus christ. oregon, trust me,...
aren’t there other recovery agents that could help out?
usually yes, but mishie and west aren't on the active Recovery roster because of other missions. once i get back i'll be training up another agent for recovery.
no worries, i've done three back to back missions before, it's all part of Recovery.
Another greenie, huh? God, you guys are popping up like whack-a-moles. I'm Del. Welcome to the project.
Hey, Del, I'm Penny! Or Agent Pennsylvania, I suppose. Just call me Penny.
[txt] Good luck, Wash. Don't get killed or anything, okay?
[txt] thanks del! seems pretty standard, i'm not too worried.
New, huh? Welcome. [shakes her hand]
[Amber smiles at seeing a fellow redhead and returns the handshake] Yep, I'm the new Agent Ohio, but you can just call me Amber. I don't think I caught your name, however.
How'd we get in this mess?
2. stuck in a storm at sea
"See, this is why you don't trust weathermen."
They were helping guard some Project stuff as it was shipped from one outpost to another. Would only take a few hours and it was more of a 'just in case thing'. The weather was supposed to be pretty nice and no problems were expected from storms.
Except that after hundreds of years, weathermen were still terrible at their job.
So it was raining, pretty hard. Thunder had just started rolling and West was fairly certain she'd already seen lightning.
"I don't think blaming them is going to help, West."
"It's still true."
But she did stop blaming them and their incompetence, at least for now. There were a few hours left before they'd reach shore when the captain came over their comms and mentioned that the weather was interfering with their navigation. Basically, it would be longer than a few hours and they were hoping not to be blown off course too badly.
"...fucking weathermen."
