lemme explain

i grew up in a very racist family (we didn’t watch cosby or anything and my stepdad grounded me for watching that’s so raven because it was ‘legitimizing the black lifestyle’). now i’m a knowitall who will share trivia and be really excited even if it doesn’t have any emotional backing for me and i remember being like 5 and seeing a trailer for that movie ‘like mike’ and i got all excited and turned to my grandfather and said ‘i know what mj stands for!’ and i was trying to say ‘michael jordan’ but my mouth said ‘michael jackson’. my grandfather then snapped ‘we don’t say that name in this house’ and thus i never really encountered his music beyond maybe hearing snippets of the jackson 5 in public because that moment was Burned into my brain???

so officially, as a fuck you to my racist family who i have fuck all to do with now, i turn this question back to you. to all of you reading: what are your top 5 michael jackson songs?

my all-time ultimate fave character: Frank Castle

my favourite storyline/moment: omg I love the show so much it’s hard to pick?? the Billy storyline was veryyy well executed and done. favorite moment? I loved all the kastle moments. anything w/ Curits too. Frank in general was just great

a storyline that never should have been written: I don’t have one I think never should have been written, but BETTER written..(here comes a possbily unpopular opinion..) notttt a fan of the flashbacks and how they were done :/ thought they were filmed bad and gave us virtually nothing I was just…meh it was dry for me and I was let down by that. like the only part of the show that let me down. and I don’t think we’ll get flasbacks in s2 so it kinda sucks

my first thoughts on the show: THIS IS THE BEST MARVEL NEFLIX SHOW EEVERRR!! 

my thoughts now: I still think that basically… I love Jessica Jones a lot too tho. but in terms of acting and stuff..TP is def the best

The box is garish, the title 4TH OF J*U*L*Y stamped across it in square lettering. Her first impression is that someone’s given her a fancy and overly patriotic hand blender. It isn't until she reads the descriptive text on the back of the box that she realizes what the apparatus inside actually does.

“The box says personal massager,” says Barton helpfully.

“Oh, stuff it,” Peggy retorts.

“Are you telling me that, or reading the instructions?”

Peggy deliberately gives the device an indifferent once-over before tucking it back into its box, without further comment, and placing it under the coffee table. Out of sight, out of mind.
