yandere coworker who insists you move into the cubicle next to him- how else is he going to keep an eye on his intern?
yandere coworker who makes it a point to compliment you every day, lest someone else fill your head with insecurities and lies
yandere coworker who listens intently as you open up about your personal life, mentally filling in the blanks where his stalking fell through
yandere coworker who “accidentally” spills his coffee on your suit jacket at work, and insists he has to take it to his “personal” dry cleaners before you can get it back
yandere coworker who later sets the jacket on a mannequin in his room, relishing the faint scent of you it gave off
yandere coworker who has no shame talking, hugging, and cuddling with the mannequin- with a wig and your perfume he could close his eyes and pretend it was the real thing
yandere coworker who lets all his fantasies and delusions manifest while he holds mannequin you- he enjoys telling “you” how his day was and how “you” looked so good today and how “you are the only light of his life”- all while closing his eyes and stroking the wig of hair on top of the mannequin
yandere coworker who sulks when the mannequin starts smelling more like him and less like you, which leads him to the conclusion it’s time to return the suit jacket (only after he’s properly cleaned it up of course)
by the time you get it back and on your body, your other coworkers have a chuckle at how you smell just like yan coworker- what a coincidence!
yan coworker watches as you smile innocently, unaware the suit jacket was just the first of many pieces of clothing that was yet to be taken
authors note: would you guys like to see more yan coworker content? if so, would you prefer this format or short story? lmk in the ask box!
yandere coworker who finds himself drawn to stalking you after work, just out of pure habit
yandere coworker who makes an embarrassment out of himself when he trips while following you, alerting you of his presence
yandere coworker who has no problem coming up with a lie, explaining that he was on the way to eat at the restaurant conveniently behind you
yandere coworker who insists you join him in his meal- he’ll pay, no worries!
yan coworker who when you finally agree (isn’t his darling just so sweet?) ushers you inside of the restaurant, finding a secluded booth for the two of you to eat at
yan coworker who carefully note your tastes and preferences in food, mentally making notes of what meals could best win your heart
yan coworker who pulls out all the cards- making you laugh at his quips, and telling stories that were bound to make you fall for him
yan coworker who watches intently as you eat, stunned again at your perfection, wishing with every bite it was him feeding you and not yourself
yan coworker who has to dig his fingernails into his palms to calm himself down when you ask for some of his drink- the indirect kiss through the straw left his heart beating faster than it had ever his whole life
yan coworker who at the end of the meal, sneaks your used napkins and precious straw into his briefcase to set on his shrine later
yan coworker who leaves a generous tip, hoping you would see how reliable he was if you only let him take care of you
yan coworker who insists he walks you home after dinner, and though you politely refuse he reminds you of the dangers- what if some creep or stalker caught you alone?
yandere coworker who begrudgingly leaves you home, worried he’d pushed himself onto you too much and you’d get the wrong idea- the time isn’t right quite yet
yandere coworker who instead of going straight home circles back to the restaurant, waiting outside for the man he caught ogling at you earlier to finish his meal
yandere coworker who has no concerns how dirty his work clothes get- a little blood and dirt could be washed away, this jerk, however, needed to be taken care of
yandere coworker who can’t help but hum a happy tune on his way back home- who knew today would be so eventful? with his briefcase by his side, his knuckles sporting new bruises, and your smile fresh on his mind, he couldn’t help but feel somewhat accomplished
yandere coworker regarded himself as a patient man. he had worked and waited years to get to the position he was now in, and it had took time and dedication to get there. he was no stranger to the waiting game.
but he misses you.
he tapped his fingers on his desk in an absent rhythm, distracted completely from his work. it had been a month since the interns had left the office, their internship completed and their time at the workplace done.
a month gone by too slow.
gazing outside of the window of his office, yandere coworker reminisced of when he could see you right there. the way you glowed under the setting sun, your enticing scent that would often draw him out of his office and right to your desk, where he would shower you with praises. no matter if it was all fluff and he didn't have a clue to what he was really saying, he knew for a moment that your work could disappoint him in no way.
his darling, ever so perfect, had left.
the past month had been rough on yandere coworker. going from seeing you full time to seeing you only when his shifts were done and till the sun rose again had taken a toll on him, one that was starting to become visible to his other coworkers. he was snappy, and annoyed all the time now. it seemed like you had taken all the sun and colors out of the workplace when you had left.
of course he had asked you to stay. of course he had offered you a position, any position, anything under his supervision. never mind the other interns, who had shown as much promise as you did. as long as you were close to him, it was all that mattered.
yet in what seemed like an act of abandonment, you had politely refused his offers and instead began to work at another firm once the internship ended, using yandere coworkers testimony to your time at the office as a reference. it made you a valuable candidate, one that recruiters couldn't look past. you thrived at your new work environment, making friends and exploring new experiences that your previous office couldn't provide you. for once in your life, you felt as if things were slowly falling into place, the right places.
of course, that's when everything started falling right back apart.
it began with mysterious incidents in your new group of friends. one would sprain her ankle before a hangout, another would cancel on basis of a sore throat, another would text saying their car wasn't working anymore. it wasn't long before the incidents began to pile up that you felt like it couldn't be a coincidence. coworkers began to ignore and brush aside you at work, no longer asking to hang out or get lunch. no one knew what was happening, but somehow it was connected to you. you lost your last straw when your supervisor asked you to lunch to discuss your monthly performance and instead rescheduled due to landing in the hospital after a serious accident.
sitting at the little coffee shop by your new workplace alone, you sobbed into your hands. what had been the happiest weeks of your life had quickly descended into a chaotic whirlwind of incident after accident after incident. with the abandonment of your friends and coworkers you didn't have anyone to rely on, anyone to even hear you out on how fucked up your life had quickly become.
you stayed out a little longer that night, hitting up a bar near your old office. you weren't a heavy drinker, but life had taken too quick of a turn and you weren't holding on so well. you stumbled out of the bar a few hours later, mumbling the lyrics to the song playing inside. the cool air hit your face and you couldn't help but remember the time when you had gone drinking with your old intern friends at a company dinner. the same breeze had hit your face then when yandere coworker had helped you out of the bar and into his car.
how long ago that felt, and it had only been a month since you left that place.
you slid down a lamppost, sitting on the curb and watching cars go by. was this job really better? you held out your hand, your vision hazy as your looked at your fingers. lights flitted through them as traffic went by. even at this hour the city was busy, everyone rushing to their respective places. where do i fit in? your head felt heavy and the world felt like it was spinning around you. you pulled your knees to your chest, resting your face on your kneecaps.
maybe it was better before. better when your coworker manager praised you every day, helping you navigate office life. better when things were stable, when people didn't avoid you for things that were out of your control. tears fell down your face again and you didn't bother wiping them, letting the wind whip your hair around and sting your skin.
you didn't look up when a familiar car stopped in front of you. you didn't look up when a man stepped out, his expensive cologne wrapping around you and leaving you feeling more intoxicated. you only looked up when he stopped right in front of you, holding his hand out, a dangerous look in his eyes that was coupled with a soft smile and gentle tone.
"what's the matter darling?"
authors note: yan coworker kept cologne in his car specifically for this moment
authors note: i’m classifying this as some sort of angsty smut
rough fingers grasped at strands of hair, petting, stroking, while soft murmers slipped out of yan coworkers lips.
you weren't here. the you he held was but a incomplete replica. he snuggled his head into the crook of a mannequins shoulder, his large hand covering the chest area of the doll. he held it close, as if he would start feeling warmth seep through, as if he could look into the glass eyes of this inanimate figure and the life and light of your eyes would be reflected back.
”i love you,” he whispered, and the soft words hung in the night air like heavy stars, before they were blown away by a passing breeze.
how much longer was he to wait for you? he felt like he was going through withdrawals, every moment he wasn’t in your presence.
yan coworker closed his eyes, hand roaming the body of the manniquin, searching restlessly for a warmth that wasn’t there. frustrated, he straddled the object, determined to transfer his life and heat onto you. he imagined you under him like this and a groan slipped out of him, his hips bucking forward without second thought. in a sleepy daze he meaningless grinded against the doll, sadness seeping into the cracks of his heart.
how he would love to hold you, to protect you against the world. how he would hold you in bed like this, listening to your shallow breaths as you slept in his arms. he would kiss your head, bury his face in your sweet smelling hair, and inhale your perfect scent.
fingers gripped against the mannequins hips and he imagined the beautiful marks it would have left if it was your skin instead. he panted your name quietly into the shoulder of the mannequin, not feeling a hint of embarrassment as he imagined you panting his own name back.
he stroked the mannequins hair between thrusts, pulling it closer till he could convince himself almost fully it was your body pressed against his.
oh how he loved you, and how he needed you.
yan coworker let out a low groan as friction between you two sent flutters through his lower body, feeling impatience grow in his gut.
the waiting game was over, and now it was only a matter of time before he got what he wanted.
notes: slightly suggestive. reader is intoxicated.
days in the office followed the same pattern. wake up, go to work, settle into a little cubicle, work, work, work until lunch break, then work again until the sun inevitably set, clock out, head home, throw some dinner together and knock out on the bed. that was life before you showed up.
it was life after was much more exciting.
for yan coworker, being surrounded by corporate his entire work life had dulled him into the sense that there was no one out there who could cut through the monotony of life. somehow, you changed that. you had a different perspective on life- much brighter, more fullfilling. with every conversation yan coworker couldn't help but becoming addicted to the energy that surrounded you. something about you, the way you smiled, the way you laughed, he couldn't get enough.
he needed more.
before he had even realized it, his routine had changed. he no longer prioritized his work, instead he prioritized yours. he made sure as your manager that all your tasks were well delegated, ensuring that you never fell into the same despair and heavy workload that he had years before. he didn't care if it was obvious that he was playing favorites- let others see that you were under his supervision, and only under him would you work the best.
yan coworker couldn't keep his antics restrained to the workplace. he found your address, often staring from afar at your bedroom window, watching your silhouette, wishing the curtains weren't drawn. he clung onto every little story you told him about your life, often visiting the places you had mentioned and imagining himself inserted into your past memories.
finally, the day had come. the department had gone for a team dinner, and soon enough, all the interns were wasted drunk, including you. yan coworker had made sure that you were seated next to him previously, and in the crowded booth the two of you were shoulder to shoulder. balling his hands into fists, he refrained himself from his desire of slinging his arm over your shoulder or placing a hand on your thigh. oh how he wished you were just a little bit closer, so that he could inconspicuously lean into your hair, smelling your sweet scent, or better, that it would somehow rub off onto him.
almost as if you had read his mind, you shuffled closer, leaning your head onto his shoulder in what was obviously a drunken daze. yan coworker froze. though he had imagined this scene time and time over, the touch, the scent, the feeling of you so close sent blood roaring through his ears and his heart beating fast.
you murmured nonsense, cuddling closer into his side. if his ears weren't red enough, his face was beginning to flush and he was sure heat was radiating off of him.
yan coworker was known for being smart and quick on his feet- but in a matter of seconds, you had reduced his smarts into nothing. he gently shifted his shoulder, allowing you to lean more comfortably. he tuned into your mumblings, head over heels of how cute you were in the moment.
“yan, yan…” you slurred, tugging on his sleeve.
“yes?”
suddenly your face contorted, a gag building in your throat. yan coworker didn’t need to look twice- he pulled you up, rushing you to the bathroom. as you threw up into the toilet he gently stroked your hair, murmuring soft affirmations.
even in this moment, you were nothing but perfect.
you looked up after several minutes, embarrassed that you had emptied out the contents of dinner in front of your manager. yet there was no judgement in yan coworkers eyes- he simply held his hand out, helping to pull you up to your feet.
“let’s get you home, shall we?”
you nodded, the effects of alcohol still making your mind hazy. still holding onto his hand, you followed yan coworker out of the restroom. he bid his farewells to the rest of the team, then guided you to his car. you slipped in, cool air caressing your face. before you knew it, you were home.
yan coworker held his hand out for you as he opened your door, and once again you took it, letting him guide you as you stumbled up the steps to your place. you clumsily entered your password into the keypad, not registering yan coworkers watchful gaze. he helped you into your home, letting you use his shoulder for support while you slipped your shoes off.
in your daze you could only feel exhaustion, and a headache beginning to build behind your eyes. you found your way to your room, flopping onto the bed.
"not going to change darling?"
you turned your head, squinting at yan coworker leaning against the doorframe. you giggled- "what, are you gonna help me?"
before you could even blink, yan coworker had covered the distance from the door to your bed. he crouched down, now at eye-level. he stared you down for a moment, his eyes searching yours. you felt heat rush to your cheeks as the handsome man peered into your soul. you turned your head quick, breaking the spell.
"you're drunk."
you didn't miss the way he sounded almost disappointed. like he was holding himself back.
"don't state the obvious yan."
the man chuckled, and a moment later you felt a soft blanket cover your body.
"go to sleep. call me in the morning, i'll make you hangover soup."
"... you're going?" you mumbled, snuggling into the covers.
"yes darling, but not right now. i'll stay here for a bit, make sure your okay."
you nodded your head, oblivious to the fact that letting your coworker into your house unattended wasn't entirely safe, or that said coworker was suddenly using pet names to refer to you.
yan coworker pulled up a chair, watching as you fell into sleep. he let the mask fall, embracing the frantic beating of his heart. today he had progressed more than he ever had, getting closer to you and even seeing a completely different side of you- a drunk persona that had softened his heart even more.
you slept unaware as yan cower slowly walked around your room, slipping things into his pockets and taking pictures of products, periodically stopping to gaze at your lying form. he felt a frenzy building inside his chest, like his heart couldn't believe where he was in the moment.
months. it had taken months for an event like this to come up. yan coworker would be dumb to not take the opportunity while it presented itself. he glanced longingly at you while you breathed in and out, savoring the scent of you that lingered in the air. he stepped closer to the bed, feeling almost delirious.
how was he to go home? how was he to leave this haven?
gently, ever so gently, he stroked your hair, as he had done so many times before to the mannequin in his room. but this was better, this was real. he felt butterflies in his stomach as he crouched down and shuffled closer, now almost face to face.
my sleeping beauty he thought, an unusually soft smile growing on his lips.
his touch transferred from your hair to your face as he traced along your features. cupping your cheeks, he winced as he felt a tightness starting to grow in his pants.
he stood up quickly, fighting every dirty thought and urge in his body to do something, mark something of yours, or leave a sign of his devotion.
no not now. now was not the right time.
he knew he had to leave before his self control ran out.
as yan coworker tiptoed softly back to the door, he glanced over his shoulder one last time, taking in the sight. he would be back, he knew it. whether that was on his lunch break or nights when you were out, someway he would visit this haven again.
with a heart half heavy for leaving so soon and half elated at the thought of seeing you again the next day, he slipped out the door.
see you soon darling.
authors note: dear readers i know i promised a short story but i may of gotten a little carried away so that's why its a little longer... forgive me and let me know y’all’s thoughts in the ask box ♡
warnings: general yandere behavior, mentions of stalking
wind whistled through eric’s ears as he cut through the evening sky, webs shooting from his wrists tugging him from one building to the next. he reveled in the swish of the crisp air as he swung past building to building, and he let the pad of his fingers drag against glass windows as he passed by.
all around him the city prepared for the night, as apartment lights switched on and doors closed as parents ushered their playing children inside for dinner.
eric watched from the sky as a street cat disappeared behind a pile of cardboard and shot a web from his wrist to the roof of an abandoned building nearby. he walked along the concrete, checked around for stray eyes, and then took off his mask. shooting a web right next to the cardboard box, he swung down, the whistle of the wind clearer in his ears now.
“pspspsps, here kitty”
a soft mrow? resounded from the pile of cardboard and eric sighed in content, plopping down on the ground. he made no further move to coax the creature out, instead crossing his arms and leaning against the brick wall.
the cat eventually peeked its head out of its makeshift house, and eric couldn’t help but grin. he pulled a small treat out of a hidden pocket and held it out for the animal to sniff.
slowly but surely the cat came closer, lapping the snack off his palm. when it finished he reached his agile fingers past the animals ears and scratched. purrs came in rumbles, and the two cuddled closer in the empty alleyway.
eric used to be lonely. he used to spend his patrol nights like this, making friends with stray cats and hanging upside down from billboards until the blood rushing to his brain woke him up.
but his visits to his furry friends had become more sporadic as he found himself a new infatuation- you.
even the thought of you sent his heart into a flurry, his already superhuman metabolism running faster when he caught a glimpse of you in the morning before work or returning by bus in the evening. his stalking was only made easier with his powers, as sweet sweet y/n had no clue he swung from building to building on their commute home, keeping them safe from afar.
eric got up, giving the stray a final scratch between the ears before putting his mask back on and shooting a web towards a building parallel to the alley. swinging away, he flew through the night air once more, his heart too pumped up now to think of anything else. he swung in the direction of the bus stop, eager to catch you before you started your short walk home to your apartment.
his darling was so cute stepping off the bus, and as eric landed on a nearby building, he couldn't help but let his heart flutter. maybe one day, not today, but one day, he would reveal himself. you would be the one to unmask him, the one to cradle his face and kiss his scars. he could almost feel your lips against his cheek and his ears reddened, an almost innocent bodily reaction compared to the thoughts he harbored about you. you were simply perfect.
and soon, you would be all his.
authors note: what do u guys think? i’ve never seen a yandere spiderman before so i had to do some thinking lol but i’m def excited to share more of him in the future!
(p.s. there may or may not be a series featuring him coming out soon…)
she wanted to hurt someone. it was complicated and stupid, and all eris wanted to do was find a spare axe to throw into the trees behind her. instead she ran, ran so fast the forest blurred on all sides of her, ran so fast she could hear the whistle of the wind in her ears. dried tears crusted on her eyelashes as she raced past dead logs, her movements fluid yet controlled. yet she haltered as she tried coming to a stop before a pile of discarded trash, and air cut through her lungs as she tumbled into the junk.
“just what i needed. fuck. FUCK.”
instead of moving, she stayed still for a moment more, fingers lazily curling through plastic bags and paper towel rolls.
she imagined lying there for more than this second, for more than eternity. she imagined her hair blending into the trash, her skin slipping off the bone as it decomposed. she imagined the warmth of the plastic bags as they tangled into her ribs, filling her lungs with a new life. she imagined her legs splayed out and becoming home to bugs, crawlers she didn’t even know the names of.
she imagined her heart, now bleeding, but soon to be stone. she imagined it hollow, a strong gust of wind pushing it out of her rib cage and into the foliage under the trees.
she imagined a hiker, unknowing and innocent, crushing it to powder beneath their boots. a smile ghosted her lips and a tear rolled off her nose onto the plastic below.
she got up.
she ran.
authors notes: aahhhh!!! my first work! please show eris some love, she’s just been finding herself in some trouble lately… <3
