30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?

This is kinda lame, but it'll be reflected in my stats for this year... How fucking easy it is to fall off the writing habit.

I have a bunch of really banner years of writing. Then came 2022, where I didn't specifically set aside time each day for writing like I had in previous years.

This year, it got worse.

The surprise was how easy it is to let myself slack off for a bit... And then how hard it is to get that mojo back.

I am a creature of habit, and now I understand that I need to keep a routine if I want to continue writing. (I LOVE writing... I just need to do it!)
