After beating Cirno in the Human Village, you need to hunt down the other members of Cirno's gang before you can "advance" through the remainder of demo.

 The furthest point of the Demo we've reached is to the east of Hakurei Shrine. The battle with Reimu herself seems to be the last event in the demo. The running theory on how to unlock the Reimu fight is by having a complete dex (Obtaining all obtainable puppets in the demo)
