“So how’d you get into this?”
Twisting around, Sam quirked a brow as he stared up at Sharon, his favorite customer, and grins, “What?”
“Oh shit,” Sharon murmurs softly, face flushing as she ducks her head, left hand coming up to pull on the free lock of hair hanging by her face, while wrapping the right around her waist. “Sorry, I didn’t mean that to come out so rude, Sam.”
Chuckling softly, Sam gives a small shake of his head as he pushes himself up and moves to face her, “Naw, it’s okay. I just didn’t hear you right.”
“Oh. Um, I was just wondering how you got into this?”
“My aunt Kathy,” he grins as he walks them over to a faded photo hanging behind the counter. “She actually own this place before I took over.”
