not trying to start anything, but i'm curious abt your mixed feelings abt the new spencer arc. personally, i don't really see what it adds to his character? and dragging it out for the rest of the season is pretty unfair to the rest of the characters, esp the new ones who've gotten barely any backstory. there's a small chance i'll be pleasantly surprised by it but i doubt it. :P

thats kinda how i feel about it, like i think it would have been more interesting if this had happened a few seasons ago because a lot of the people who casually watch the show now dont really remember the whole season 2 deal (i mean unless youre like really into the show) plus i dont see how its going to culminate in anything? i feel like they dragged up the whole thing with his mom to make it easier to set up his prison arc, and her recent characterization is a whole other issue
