"Yeah, I guess not." Wash gave a light laugh and shifted the box in his arms, just to a more comfortable position to hold it in, though he avoids frightening the cat. "I've just got two now. But that's more than I expected to get in the first place." He shrugged, still absolutely beaming because so far, this had been a much better Christmas than he'd been expecting.

why yes. it is a cat. a few months ago while I was in Cryo-sleep, I still have no idea why I was in there and also why I was in there for 4 months, it turns out that one of my cats had kittens. So I have somewhere around four cats now that I've given you this one. I only just found them, turns out they were in the ventilation shafts. Only found them because my cat ran up there.

"Oh." Wash got a rather surprised look on his face, but nodded slowly. His eyes dropped back down to the box, which he then pried open to reveal the cat. A wide grin broke out across his face, and he stuck a hand into the box to let the feline sniff his hand before he gave it a few slow pets and scratches. "Well, thanks. Really, this is... It's great." He spoke with genuine appreciation in his voice, looking back up, over at Ohio. "I just wish I had something to give to you in return."

*hands you a Christmas present... that for some reason has something shuffling inside, has air holes in the wrapping, and something that oddly sounded like meowing* here you go Wash. I don't know if you even celebrate Christmas or anything, but here is a gift anyway.

Wash blinks down at the gift held out to him, but accepts it and pulls it closer to himself, listening to it for a moment before looking back up at Ohio. He hasn't been expecting to get anything for Christmas, and yet here he was with yet another gift. Man, he just felt even worse now for not thinking to get anything for...really anyone."Wow, I--thanks, man. You didn't have to do this." He says finally, an appreciative smile appearing. Eyes dropping back down to the box, he leans over and listens to the shuffling and what sounds like it might me meowing. "This...wouldn't happen to be a cat, would it?"

okay so OWB was my first dlc I downloaded (the second is lonesome road and I don't know if I'm getting another) and so I played it with (as I consider) The "God" character I had, thousands of rounds for everything but the anti-materiel rifle with 500 bullets of each type, enclave remnants armor. halfway through the game both parts of my power armor broke and I had only enough to repair the helmet. I had to go on Leather Armor Reinforced. half of my weapons ere broken too,

(continued) and I only had the 12.7 mm smg with a silencer attached, and my heavily modified Service Rifle. I killed somewhere around 800 lobotomites and took everything they had to sell, and this took a month in real life and about 4 months in game, but I was able to raise enough money to fix both the helmet and armor, and just enough to fix the AMR and nothing else. I only was able to kill the big giant roboscorpion because no matter what I had never used the alien blaster, and I used all 200 shots onit.

weeps. I feel your pain, man. I went into OWB with a character who wasn't as powerbuilt as Marisol but she was definitely no slouch - high Guns skill and all custom ammo. She was tough enough that she made it through most of the game in just the Bounty Hunter Duster. Cowboy Repeater as her standard weapon, Anti-Material Rifle for the tougher enemies.

OWB broke her. Or rather, OWB broke. The Sink store glitched and wouldn't give me any caps for stuff I had to sell, and so I couldn't make any caps to repair the Stealth Suit and I couldn't stop dying and it was just so discouraging eventually I gave up and accepted I just need to build a completely new character for this insanity.

((Wash doesn't know much about Ohio, but he is at least another freelancer. That counts for pretty automatic trust. Plus, the guy has cats, and he can't think little of someone else who likes cats so much. So, he sees them as friends, even if he hasn't interacted terribly much with the guy.))
