Okay, so this post always makes me giggle

But I was thinking just now...

Literally no one in the friend group aside from Aang knows Zuko was the Blue Spirit

So do you think... they're just hanging out in the palace post canon all piled up in one of the rooms reserved for when the royal family wants to chill—and Zuko is voicing his (extremely reasonable) upset about his father for one reason or another

And Sokka just says something like, "So are you gonna just leave him to rot in jail for the rest of his life, or are you gonna give him another punishment?"

And Zuko goes quiet. Thinking. Then he says, "Maybe I should send him on a quest to capture the Blue Spirit to regain his honor"

And Aang just fucking loses it

Zuko "The blue spirit died in the complex under the lake in ba sing se. My uncle saw it."

SEVERAL HOURS LATER

Toph "I don't know who the blue spirit is, but i know you lied about him dying. EXPLAIN!"

Z "It's a... TIME SKIP ... And then i threw the mask in the water."

T "You should totally sen your dad after him. can i go with him to make sure he stays on target and away from here?"

Z "...Okay?"

My absolute favorite accidental Rumi’s actually a half demon reveal trope is the girls being like ‘r u aware that u purr like a cat because-‘.

One- the thought of it being rumi relaxing that gives her stupid ass away

Two- the realization that shes so stressed 24/7 shes never relaxed enough to do it

And finally three- the girls immediately fighting over what sort of cryptid rumi is and both being Pissed they lost their bets when rumi sobbing shows them her patterns sends me every single time i think about it.

Just mira slapping her hand over zoeys mouth snd trying to point at rumi’s half asleep purring ass with her eye brows and zoey just shrieking ‘YOU PURR??’ At the top of her lungs sending rumi into a catastrophic cliff dive into panic is objectively fucking hilarious

While Zoey being the one to accidentally release things before shes suppose to is funny may I remind you that ms’ ‘lives in a state of constantly just replicating behavior’ Rumi is right there and has 100% accidentally slipped into muscle memory out of raw habit.

She has definitely been the source of slip ups because shes stimming through unreleased choreography in the background of someone else’s live. Rumi who hums to self soothe. Rumi who is constantly in motion and it isn’t her fault really that she doesn’t notice shes tapping out unreleased chords. Rumi who now that she feels way safer has the self awareness of a brick wall. She’s spent her entire life hyper-fixated on what shes doing because of her patterns and that was the only thing she could focus on. Now she is blessedly head empty about the entire situation. Rumi wouldn’t recognize she’d walked into a bonfire if it didn’t hurt. Ma’am’s extremely intelligent but that did not transfer to her obsessive disassociating pacing.

There’s entire fan boards devoted to picking apart whatever that autistic bastard is doing in the background of any random video they get from the girls. It got so bad Bobby had to ban Rumi from wandering into streams. Unfortunately for both Bobby and Rumi (who looks like she wants to die every single time this happens) that girl has the awareness of a brick when shes in the safety of her own home and has a weak 25% chance of even noticing there’s a live happening.

Listen. It isn’t her fault Zoey talks to herself constantly and Mira involves herself in Zoey’s single person conversations. It isn’t her fault that she’s spent seven years learning to tune them both out because they wouldn’t stop teasing her for constantly asking what was going on when they were just arguing about Zoey’s internal dialogue. The ongoing fandom joke is an enshrined meme of Rumi’s ‘of god oh fuck oh no’ realization face when she locks eyes on the camera rolling. Every single time new shit gets outted because of Rumi that meme starts going around again and Zoey has 100% taped a printed out version of it to the TV.

"Schnapsleiche" is such a great word but I never know how to properly translate it. Booze corpse? Liquor corpse? Official translation gives me 'drunken body' and maaaan that's just not the same vibe. How do I properly convey the state of the city I was walking through other than with 'überall schnapsleichen'. 'the street is littered with alcohol corpses'? 'the asphalt is covered in the bodies of the fallen drunkards'? No. None of it gives me the correct vibe :( hey english u steal so many words. Steal Schnapsleiche. I think u could make good use of it.
