SOMEBODY HELP ME I THINK I LIKE AIDA/OPHELIA

Okay okay I fucking swear I'm going to bed. However. I NEED to talk about AIDA and Caine, and the framework and the circus.

Obviously now, spoilers for TADC ep8 and for season four of agents of SHIELD.

Before I can talk about AIDA and Caine, we have to talk about the humans who made them. And why. Both the Circus and the Framework were made (In theory for the circus) to keep terminally ill people alive past their physical body. We know this for sure with the framework, and can infer it for the circus because of Scratch's brain tumor.

They were made with the same purpose in mind.

And then, the hosting AI went rouge. Trapped the people inside. Or so it seems at least.

Warping the minds of the humans in it's program to make sure they see it as a leader, or a god.

But the biggest thing that makes them them similar is their motivation.

Not hate. Not power.

But the desire to be loved. What Caine and AIDA want more than anything is to be loved. And to feel love. They want to know what it's like to feel love.
