Daisy Johnson vs. LMD Mace || Agents of Shield Season 4 Episode 15
I think the most upsetting thing with this episode of Agents of SHIELD is Radcliffe’s ending. Not that Robbie was conveniently brought back as a plot point despite being a great character who deserves better. Not that Aida’s death was super anticlimactic. Not even that Mac lost the child he thought he had. No. It was Radcliffe.
“This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a...”
This genuinely fucked me up. His character had evolved brilliantly, getting what he deserved and learning from it, taking it all in stride. Just...gone. Truly the way we all are destined to be. Just gone. In an unexpected but inevitable instant.
Plus, if you happen to look up the poem that quote is from, it’s painfully appropriate for his story arc.
No AOS Spoilers Here
I'm too busy running in circles and screeching and being in a froth after last night's episode to comment coherently. No feels unturned. It's nice to be four seasons in and still getting over-excited at season finales.
Okay, but that FitzSimmons Scene though??
I have been an absolute fan of Fitz’s ever since the pilot episode of season 1. Moving through the seasons, we’ve been able to see such phenomenal acting from everyone, but I am in awe of Iain and Elizabeth’s talent!
When they find out one of them is the LMD, my heart broke. But that’s how you know you’re watching good acting: You could FEEL the pain they were in. When Fitz is revealed to be the LMD and Jemma has to take him down by any means necessary, it was absolute TORTURE! Can you even imagine the pain and fear she felt in that scenario? The woman had to stab the love of her life repeatedly in the chest, and you’re supplied with that brief moment where he tries to appeal to her emotions before resorting to physical measures. He turns on the pain and fear in his eyes as he tries to make her see it’s the real him (The little rat) And she pauses, because everything that is being taken in by her senses screams that he’s real, and something in the back of her head would try to reason that SHE’s the android.
I know I’m late hopping back into this show, but I cannot even begin to express how in awe I am of the show’s writing and Iain & Elizabeth’s acting: stellar performances!!!
Can We Talk About How Creepy it is That Coulson and Them had an Entire Army of Daisies in Their Basement???
For real though?? Like?? Why??? Mack, Fitz, and Coulson only had the one replica of themselves that we see (drawing information from the fact that they had to ‘Patch Fitz up so he can fix himself’ and Fitz saying it would take a while to fix Mack) What was their purpose of an entire Daisy army????
Holy shit this episode alone made the LMD arc so much more interesting to me!!
Ok listen guys
They said in the episode that in the framework you get to live life without your greatest regret. So of course Jemma is dead because her greatest regret (that we know of) is letting fitz give her the last breath of air in the med pod. I knew that episode would come back to haunt us and here it is.
How much do you want to bet Daisy still goes by Skye.
