shared braincell!
9. Oh, and are you going to stop me?
“You’re not supposed to be up here,” Leopold said, stepping into the office. The desk chair was faced away from him, the back high enough that he couldn’t see the intruder’s face, but there was only one person bold enough to sit at his desk without his permission.
“I’m also not supposed to be sleeping in your bed or sucking you off when you ask, but I don’t hear you complaining about that,” Hunter said, spinning in the chair to face him with his patented cock-sure grin. “Besides, I got bored.”
“Oh, you were bored,” Leopold replied, setting the file he’d brought up from the lab to study on the desk. “I’m sure that’ll make Ophelia understand why there’s an errant security guard in my office.”
“Don’t be such a worrywart, Leopold. Ophelia left for the day; I saw her.”
“She did? I didn’t know she was leaving early,” Leopold said, eyebrows furrowing.
“That’s not any of my business. I’m just a security guard, and that is between you and the missus,” Hunter replied, and he kicked his feet up on the desk as if challenging Leopold. Leopold rolled his eyes and leveled Hunter with a look.
“Get your feet off my desk, Hunter.”
Hunter didn’t, because he was Hunter, and if anything, he was petulant and stubborn. Leopold circled the desk, nudged his feet off the desk, and sank into his lap as best he could. Desk chairs weren’t designed for two people. He could probably make one, though, easily.
“Why, Doctor, how forward,” Hunter gasped. Leopold tipped his chin up with a finger, barely having to touch Hunter. “Here I thought we shouldn’t be doing this.”
“Oh, and are you going to stop me?” Leopold teased before kissing him. Hunter hummed, hands going to the front of Leopold’s suit jacket and releasing the buttons so he could get his hands under and along his sides. “What Ophelia doesn’t know won’t hurt anyone.”
“I like this side of you, Leopold,” Hunter said. “I’m a bad influence on you.”
“Yeah,” Leopold replied. “Dad’s not here, and Ophelia’s gone, and I don’t have meetings for the rest of the day. I can do whatever I want. And what I want to do, Mr. Hunter, is you.”
“God, please, do.”

is it too soon to make Framework!Fitz jokes?
I had a possible epiphany about Framework!Fitz the other morning. It always bothered me that the “fix” to his regret was Alistair taking him with him when he left (inferred from “Perhaps I should have left you with your mother” or something along that in Alistair’s toxic masculinity speech in “No Regrets”). Why would AIDA ever think that was he wanted that versus his father staying and loving him for what he was instead having of the empathy beaten out of him and having to earn a facsimile of love? Fitz had cut Alistair out of his life and he clearly had no say in what regret was changed. His LMD seemed to think his fixed regret had something to do with his life with Jemma, most likely not realizing and being open about his feelings sooner. Why would the LMD be so wrong? Coulson’s LMD was spot on. May’s and Mack’s fixes seemed to fit what the characters would want. Fitz was the only one who got something he wouldn’t want or think of (his father at the expense of his mother).
Until this thought I thought it was because AIDA and the Darkhold needed Fitz to be a certain way for their goals, and that is certainly part of it, but what if that’s not all of it. Radcliffe had said he had an encounter with Alistair a few months back, so sometime between seasons 3 and 4. He would have been working on the LMD program and most likely had some sort of version of AIDA with his at that time, so AIDA would have “heard” Alistair’s message. Conversely, she got the message from the scan of Radcliffe’s brain or Radcliffe talked about it with her, but this is where she got the idea of Alistair taking Fitz and thus removing his mother’s influence while gaining his father’s. What if Alistair told Radcliffe to tell Fitz that he should have taken him with him? What if AIDA didn’t fix Fitz’s regret but Alistair’s? But that plant from that message made her think she was fixing Fitz’s? But that’s it. That’s the epiphany. AIDA never actually fixed a regret of Fitz’s when she programmed him into the Framework but his father’s instead.
Will this ever be covered by the show? Not likely. Largely because odds are Alistair won’t be making an appearance. How would I like it to be revealed on the show? The same way I always want Alistair to be on the show. As a tag scene. where May is in a bar (Deke’s bar?), he says something that makes her recognize him and realize it, and then she punches him in the face.
