Look, I just dislike it because they’re brother and sister. I don’t really care otherwise. The only thing I ever do in relation to The Flash is complain about Iris and Barry being foster siblings. I don’t even watch it; my boyfriend watches it and I tease him about it. Iris seems lovely, I suppose, and she probably deserves better than having her foster brother lie to her and continually try to ask her out.Also, it’s not really fair to judge The Flash by this, but I’m really over both unrequited love storylines and the whole “I must lie to you to protect you!” Superhero thing. They both model really shitty behavior for real life. Unrequited love means the guy not believing the girl when she says she’s not interested in him (his persistence pays off!) And the condescending protective behavior …. Just ugh.

I like how I’m so sensitive and insecure that my immediate, most logical conclusion there was that it had to be some sort of argument at/callout post for me just because I have on occasion reblogged metas before that made some similar points as exitpursuedbyasloth did in their post. Like, I had already written that entire rebuttal and it wasn’t until I got to my tags that it finally hit me like, hang on, could it be at all possible that she simply got the URL tag wrong? From my understanding Misha & Vicki had a threesome relationship with one of Vicki's best friends. In the book Vicki talks about how she realized she was in love with her best friend & when she talked to Misha he said he was in love with her too. Idk how the specifics of the arrangement worked out. Agentsex on tumblr has all the info about that though.
