Thoughts on Rewatching Agents of Shield preCap2 Episode
Sitwell has never taken a bullet for SHIELD. Interesting.
The eye thing is a whole lot like the poison tooth. Clearly Hydra 2.0 technology.
Garrett talking to Skye when she was briefing him is really creepy, in retrospect. Interesting to see that 3rd degree burn as well. Maybe had something to do with his turning? He also discusses jumping on the bandwagon, and mentions "Turn, Turn, Turn". And "the difference between fighting against something and fighting for something". Huh- SHIELD vs. Hydra.
May's mention to the science babies about side effects in Coulson and Skye makes a lot more sense now. Although it actually seems a bit strange that she didn't warn them about this earlier.
Ward is a pretty good actor in the whole "did someone order you to kill the clairvoyant" bit.
General thoughts about Ward: He's always been a loner. At Academy he wasn't in the social crowd. He did most of his missions on his own as a lone Agent. He's essentially the perfect person to recruit to an organization that would "value" his individual skills and welcome him to the family. SHIELD clearly didn't do that... at least until Coulson invited him onto the bus. Then he started to get an actual, honest to God family. I'm sure he was already Hydra before joining the bus. I'm wondering how deep his devotion has remained, however.
Can we recruit Clint now that Coulson needs a sharpshooter again?
Watching Cap1 again with my roommate before she sees Cap2 for the first time: Didn't realize that they have the circle puncture tool in this one too! It's just gotten smaller now. Maybe Fitz made it more portable?
