Okay so, i never thought i’d make one of these posts, never thought i’d have too, never thought it’d get that bad, but… my dad, has left me in the house on my own for 2 weeks (don’t worry i’m 22) but, he’s also left me with a very… very sick dog, after taking £300 (every bit of money i had spare) with him on his holiday to France.
Now… this dog, he’s a bullmastiff, and he’s around 8-9 years old, he’s an old pup, but he’s got a LOT of life left in him, honestly i thought he was four he’s that excitable usually.
Now… Chance, he once looked so bulky, so well built and muscular, like bullmastiff’s are meant to look, and before you say something, this dog gets fed 3 times a day, every day. I’ve only just taken this photo:
Those are his ribs. He’s stick thin, he looks like we haven’t fed him in three weeks, it’s terrifying because the only thing that lines up with all of his symptoms, is kidney failure.
This was him just two months ago:
Tomorrow, i take him to the vets, in hopes they can find out what’s wrong with him, but me and my brother (who has all of his own bills to take care of) are on our own neither of us have enough money to do this… my dad is gone, and there’s no way to contact him.
We don’t know how much the vet bills will be, or how much we’re going to have to pay up front to even have him seen… so… i’m doing the one thing i promised myself i’d never do.
Asking strangers for help.
Literally everything anything i get, will go directly into these medical bills, he’s a good dog, he has so much life left in him, and we’re terrified for him, he cant even walk properly now… we don’t wanna take him to the vets tomorrow, to find out we only have enough money to put him down.
