The Age of Faith - "OCD". Probably my favourite Ottawa band of the 90's. This track is from the 1992 cassette-only release "Watersongs" and is still one of my favourite tracks of theirs. I digitized the cassette for myself back around 2000.

What I loved about The Age of Faith was that they had this well constructed storyline that was the basis for each of their songs of all three of their albums.  I was a complicated story (partially laid out in the liner notes of "Coal") concerning a feud between the Faith and Glassfoot families in the town of Chapel Round at the turn of the 20th century.  Lots of mysticism and supernatural mixed in to it along with a crashed locomotive ("The Jesus Wheel") and buried family secrets.  Mostly the story was being recounted by family patriarch Arthur O. Faith to his grandson.  According to the story, Arthur was 104 at the time of the story and in and out of lucidity.  Too bad it didn't go past 3 albums.  But they're still among my favourite 3 albums of all time.
