Agere Loki & Peter Headcanons
This is for them individually and as friends! The tangent coming off my last post resulted in going into regressor Peter territory and then I ran out of space so. New post for him! Pt. 1 Pt. 2 Pt. 3 (You're already here!)
- Peter meets mini loki once before he figures out that Loki is a regressor (which Loki tells him outright/mentions as if it's no big deal, because he really doesn't find it that big of a deal, and the only reason it's a "secret" with the rest of the Avengers is because screwing with them is fun) - This meeting involves an attempt at baking a cake for May's birthday that results in every ingredient in the recipe being all over the kitchen. This is also how Loki found out the vigilante is a regressor, and contributed to the young god telling Peter later on - Peter hasn't ever regressed below the age of 4, and averages at 5 or 6 - He loves Legos, even more than when big, and is super clingy to anybody who will let him hang out with them - He's also super cuddly, and though May didn't always know about his regression, she was always indulgent in him deciding they needed to lay in her bed together while she read - Loves grocery shopping with people while regressed, which he's never been able to explain. He finds out that taking Loki along is even better than Ned or May, because Loki doesn't know anything about grocery stores and Peter enjoys showing him around and telling him about things - Loves feeling smart while little - Loki and him get into lots of chaos-- and trouble-- while regressed - Peter also never asks Loki if he can shapeshift other people to different ages, but the god decides to get pictures from May of how Peter looked at that age for reference on his own and offer it - Peter loves being in a body that suits the age he's at mentally, and this is what results in him telling May he's a regressor, so he can run around the apartment while little - He does not want to tell any of the Avengers, even staying there a couple days a week and often regressing, but Loki convinces him to run around and confuse people together. - People think he's Thor at first because Peter had lighter hair when physically young, and Loki is nothing short of offended on his big brothers behalf at the comparison - He informs them very firmly that Thor does not regress and also looked nothing like Peter, who they'd decided to call "Mayson," not that anybody knew it was spelled with a y, after lots of consideration - Peter gets distressed if regressed and unable to be in the right sized body after the first few times, though, but he's too embarrassed to say anything for a long time - Loki doesn't even realize, but he does figure out how to enchant a bangle with the spell, and painstakingly carves the runes into it to make it work for Peter after the other little asked him every single time he could to be shapeshifted - May finds little Peter adorable, and has his coloring pages and drawings on the fridge, to big Peter's infinite embarrassment - MJ knows nothing about him being a regressor and asks "Whose drawings?" when she shows up at their house for the first time after they've been pinned to the fridge - Peter very obviously stutters out "Nobodies! Uh, let's move on!" and she makes her own assumptions but doesn't bring them up until he does - Ned has known since Peter started regressing, and thinks the drawings on the fridge are adorable, and finds it hilarious that Peter's embarrassed by it
