I have this sudden huge incredible urge to be at the beach
Just played through some of my most hated parts of DA:I ayyyy ✌️ Kinda wanna choke someone now ayyyy
for context, these things are
Solas breaking up with the Inquisitor after getting her all emotionally vulnerable and kinda letting her think it might be bc she doesn't want her vallaslin removed;
playing a Dalish elf, but still having to listen to a human shemsplain Elvhen history and watch her greedily grab up powerful Elvhen artifacts;
getting screamed at by Sera for calmly saying that maybe the Dalish pantheon isn't ~just demons~ and maybe there are gods other than the Maker
These are the parts most likely to make me scream with anger and throw things. That hasn't happened yet, but...
SDPFIJDSO JINX ?? JINX ?? !! IN THE ANIMATED SERIES ?? OMG ? FA+IASIJFDSUHFUAHSDASHDJ AS
Current mood: TIRED.
My parents keep making fun of me because I had stand on my toes to reach the back of the popcorn maker
Why must they do this to me
depression is such a bitch.
PSA: it’s gonna be okay (maybe)
I’ve noticed that this week I’ve seen a LOT of tumblr posts saying things like “I just saw my psychiatrist/dietician/therapist and they want me back on meds/a meal plan/higher LoC, and I thought I was doing better and now I’m back to square one!” *insert lots of angry hashtags*. The reason I’ve noticed this is because I had a really similar experience yesterday and it’s making me feel pretty shitty.
And then I wondered, maybe this actually is more common right now. Maybe it’s May, and we’re all getting ready to leave school or start a new summer job or move back in with our families or move away from our families, and we’re facing the facts about where we are in recovery and what we still have to do. And it’s just a really fucking hard time of year.
If that’s the case with you, just know you’re not alone. If you’re backsliding or frustrated at your progress, you don’t have to be ashamed of it.
You will recover. You will surivive. Healing happens bit by bit.
You’re not where you want to be, but thank God you’re not where you used to be.
