International Competition Update

Hello, hello, everyone! 

It’s been a week since we announced the International Competition this year will be held at Durmstrang, and I’m here to give you an update on who will be in attendance thus far, so I can make sure I’m not missing any little singers who want to be a part of our team.

7th Years: Tina Cohen-Chang (NPC), Victoria Rowland*

6th Years: Hugo Weasley, Jake Puckerman (NPC), Marley Rose (NPC), Gavin Peakes*

5th Years: Becca Goldstein, Leo Spinnet*, Kelsey Corner*, Aubrey Flint*, Emma Coote*, Amelia MacMillan*, Gwen Peakes*, Blake Shaw (NPC), Emily MacDonald (NPC), David Hansen (NPC)

4th Years: Melanie Lynn (NPC), Stella Pierce (NPC), Myron Muskovitz (NPC)

I’ll also be asking our lovely radio hosts to take song dedications for pieces you’d like the Frog Choir to feature while we’re out at Durmstrang representing the school, so please be sure to send in your requests soon!

OOC: Characters with * next to their name are playable characters who will be removed from this list if they are taken up and their players no longer want them to be a part of the club.

Hello again, Hogwarts!

I know I haven’t said much in a while, but Frog Choir rehearsals have been going fantastically, and I know we’re all ready for next month’s International Frog Choir competition. Which, by the way, I’m happy to announce will be held at Durmstrang Wizarding Institute, so everybody be sure to get your cold weather clothes back out in time for the competition.

This’ll be taking place the last weekend of May, so if you’re planning on traveling to Durmstrang with the team, please send me a message so I can submit our final roster to Professor Isley. And if you’d like a solo, make sure to include that, too – I want to make sure everyone has a chance to shine (and I’ll be looking for people taking initiative when I’m choosing next year’s captains). Let’s show the rest of the international magical community the kind of talent we have here at Hogwarts.
