more heated rivalry thoughts:
even if hollanov had perfect communication, they would still have to keep the relationship secret because of the general homophobia within hockey which is still a difficult thing to do and could have hurt them anyways (as demonstrated by skip)
the whole “who fell first, who fell harder” thing always amuses me because it really can be argued both ways and i don’t see the point in fighting over who’s right or wrong
i feel like because the show has so many time jumps (especially in the first 2 episodes), it is a little difficult to remember that this relationship has now spanned 8 years, omg it’s been 8 YEARS of meeting each other in secret, of texting silly little things, of learning each other, of silently and unbeknownst to each other falling in love
