Those hair buns are up and flapping as If she is stimming off of them. Sari is angry? Those buns look as if they're fire ready to burn somebody. Sad Sari hours? They droop, like a tear.

I was replaying some Mega Man X games recently when I pondered crossing it over with the Endeavor. The Endeavor is a pet I redrew years ago for the social/virtual pet game Subeta, and I'm still pretty fond of them, even if I wasn't the original creator. So! Here is a Reploid version of an Endeavor, in the style of the later Mega Man X games. I took a few artistic liberties in tweaking its design. Though I'm not sure what to call him, I imagine him being a high-altitude military drone technician. He'd have lots of tools at his disposal, including some very sharp claws.. I'm not sure if many people are into both games at the same time, but he was fun to draw.

The Spartan Agoge. In the 7th century BCE existed a Spartan named Lycurgus. Lycurgus became the Seer and lawgiver of Sparta; he organised his society and Polis into a type of Military Proletariat run of course by a King. Even without a head of state, Spartan men were expected to protect and defend Sparta, and for this to work Lycurgus demolished the walls of Sparta making it the only city without walls and the idea behind this was that they were not needed and that Spartan Men were the real Metaphysical walls of Sparta. Lycurgus instituted Agoge. Agoge was the training program every Spartan male was forced to go through from the age of seven! No such people had a structure in the ancient world. The Agoge was divided into three levels; paides (ages 7-17), paidiskoi (ages 17-19) and hebontes (ages 20-29). Spartan women were encouraged to humiliate and criticize the men in their training; this was important to the training because it helped to produce healthy minded men and motivate them to train harder. One of the most physical activities Spartan Men had to endure was Penkration. Penkration is Greek Marshial Arts; this deadly sport is a combination of now-a-days boxing and wrestling; think of MMA except with little regulations and the opponents fought naked. We can only imagine and speculate the actual nature of this training; but what good is training if we can't test it in real life circumstances? The Battle of Thermopylae between 300 Spartans and ten thousand Persians is living proof of Agoge. Should modern day Societies implement Agoge?

I feel like using Pygmalion/My Fair Lady (Bernard Shaw) would be a good model to use if writing a Ventrue fledgling Agoge story.

I personally like the concept of a character not an obvious candidate (so not from a wealthy/connected background. Perhaps more of an ordinary lower classes person) BUT with potential - the most crucial aspect imo. You could have someone that superficially checks all the boxes, but has a terrible attitude, no ambition or respect for gravitas etc. 

Also...

For my own writing, it is still up in the air as to whether I would like to go down the Ventrue Embrace route, simply because there are already works dealing with that narrative so it is not necessary. I feel that the Ghoul perspective is interesting. Ghoul fanfics have been done - there are a handful of VTMB LaCroix/ghoul fanfics - however those are 6+ years old. The most recent LaCroix and OC centred fanfics have their OCs as Kindred characters - recently embraced, or versions of the VTMB protagonist character.
