Adorable Fluffy-Eared Rabbit Looks Like a Living Doll
He leaves a half dozen roses at Luna's work station (with Candace's help to be discreet about the whole affair), and is in and out of the shop so briefly that he manages to not run in to the shop's manager. Tucked into the small bouquet is a note that reads: "Happy Valentine's Day." The to and from fields are left empty, almost as though the sender had been embarrassed when filling them out.
Luna hummed to herself merrily as she came into the shop from her brief trip home, sunglasses and scarf still in place from the chilly cold and bright sun outside. She tilted up her glasses the second she saw them: a vivid bouquet of roses on the counter.
“Oh!”
She hurried up to them, thirstily digging for the card and eyes pouring over it, flipping it over and over again for a name, anything, something that could hint at who it was from or who it was for. Nothing, nada. Did Gill send them and wimp out on putting his name? No, he was still pretty sore over their break up as far as she could tell. But she wouldn’t put it past him... still, did someone in the shop by them for themselves or for decoration? Luna pouted her lip out with a disappointed sigh at that idea, taking a moment to let the disappointment out before swallowing it again and cheerily upping her voice to something less hurt:
“Caaaaaaandace~!” the pink-haired girl finally sang out, fingers tapping the counter as she hovered in front of the large bouquet. “Who’re these roses for~?”

She figured she probably should have texted her friend to see if she was even home. Then again, she also figured texting her would ruin the surprise of birthday wishes and gifts. Molly had seen the pretty ring in Julius’ shop when trying to find something to give to Candace, and upon returning home, remembered a matching bracelet she had picked up not too long ago, still in its box. Perfect she had thought, and even more so after stopping at the cafe to pick up some fresh macarons as well.
Switching the gift bag to free her right hand, she knocked on the apartment door, waiting, and hoping, for an answer. And if not? Well she supposed she could always text Luna to ask if she might know where her sister is...

big day for big sis ( Candace / Luna )
Luna had it all set up. She woke up extra early and checked to be sure that her sister was still asleep - and thank goodness, she was!
The younger Wilde sister went to work quickly setting up pre-wrapped presents on the counter top, arranging a large bouquet of snowdrops in a vase, and starting in on a hearty attempt at breakfast.
Okay, if making French toast counted as hearty. She could at least do that. With a pot of sweet smelling coffee already brewing and burbling nearby, she stirred up the eggs and cinnamon and vanilla and probably too much extra brown sugar in a bowl, humming merrily to herself and starting to make just enough noise that she might rouse her sleepy sister to come inspect what she was up to.
time to tease my cute sister (Candace & Luna)
agora-rabbit:
“Huh?”
She peeked in from the back room, approaching while munching on an apple slice from her lunch. “What are you talking about? Nobody—”
She caught sight of the column, immediately recognizing it as the gossip column. Candace stuffed the remaining apple slice in her mouth as she leaned in to see the paper— and nearly choked at the sight of her own name.
“Mm!” she protested, shaking her head, bright red not only from the compliment, but even to have been mentioned! She covered her mouth with a hand as she flustered, mouth full. “Mm-mm, mm-mm! Ih mush be a joke— someone ish playing a prank on me, I jusht know it!”
Luna broke into an enormous grin the second her summoning worked, calling out like a siren from the backroom her aforementioned sweet sister still munching on an apple.
“Theeere you are!♪ I forgot it was lunch, huh--” Luna ignored her grumbling tummy for just a moment longer, much more hungry for the gossip she had in her hands now. She happily held up the gossip column just for Candace to get a good long read of it, the smaller girl beaming as though she’d just tasted the sweetest honey.
“Mmmm nope, it’s there in black and white! No pranks at all, because it’s all true. I mean, really-- who wouldn’t want to hug my sister!♪” she giggled, clearly pleased and stretching out her legs, holding the paper tight between her hands in display. Without a pause, her face turned back up to her sister with a catlike eagerness to find out anything more. “I wonder who sent it in, don’t you? What if it’s a boy? Maybe he’s cute--!♪”
