Just kidding - it is an Ifugao protection idol from the 1300s intended to ward off the vengeful spirits of slain warriors, lest the undead rise and seek revenge on a family or their crops.

What a day! I finally got to tell @realgdt how much I love his films, especially #PacificRim and they way he talks about imagery and colours as metaphors. I told him I’m sad that he’s not involved with #PacificRim2 and he said he was too, but the trade off was doing #TheShapeOfWater. We both agreed that was a good trade off as that film is amazing. When he asked how long we waited I told him my friends got in line around 2 and I joined them around 3pm he genuinely looked shocked and thanked me for waiting so long.
