They're all getting chronic illnesses btw. I'm not letting a single member of the expedition go unscathed, they all have some sort of thing going on, but especially the Crozies. Thomas' eyesight is messed up and his back is in pain a lot of the time due to infections to his lashing wounds. Francis... lost his hand and his body generally aches. Edward is so fucking cold aaaalll the time and has mild digestive issues. And I'm also thinking about giving him joint pain. Him or Thomas but not both. And also general weakness for all of them. They get tired and sick really easily especially the first few months after they arrive home.

Not getting into other characters too much rn but Hodgson also has digestive problems and Irving gets severe migraines.
