i get really mad when people forget the best line in glee was "i know what that is, finn sends me little texts like that too. Usually theyre puns about about my boobs but i appreciate the effort"
like
he makes puns about her boobs
he makes sits their, makes puns about her boobs, and sends them"
❀ ❀ You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. Send this to ten blogs you love and will always follow~ ❀ ❀
My grandpa, who was this skinny as hell and right off the boat, used to sing this song to me every night before bed when I was little. He'd sit next to me on my bed and pet my forehead and just keep singing it on loop. He had the most beautiful voice. My mama would come in and tell him to quiet down but he'd keep singing anyways. He knew the whole fucking song by heart. I asked him why he always sang the same song over and over and he said it reminded her of my grandma who at that point had passed away. Apparently, when they first met, it was the only song he knew in English and he sang it to her everyday when they were at work and continued singing it to her after they married. She died of cancer when I was younger so I never knew her well but I could still tell how much he loved her.
He started losing it years after and developed Alzheimers. He spent all day sitting in my living room, watching old movies and video tapes, not really knowing what was going on. I remember going down there when noone else was home, hiding behind his chair and listening to him sing that same fucking song over and over, but at that point he forgot most of the fucking words. I used to sit there and just cry when I heard him sing. When he was bed ridden in the hospital, he'd whistle it everytime we went to visit but then he'd lose where he was and whistle it all over again.
Everytime I read, hear, or even think of the tune to that song, I can't help but fucking cry. I really fucking miss my grandpa, ok ahahah
