IMPORTANT PSA AND CALL TO ACTION
The AHCA has been declared unconstitutional by a federal judge in Texas due to the Individual Mandate and mandatory coverage of pre-existing conditions among other things. HOWEVER there will be an appeal to higher courts that may take years.
YOU CAN AND SHOULD SIGN UP FOR IT TONIGHT. IT REMAINS THE LAW OF THE LAND.
Now, it's up to us to fight this! We WILL see this through to the Supreme Court and we WILL do our very best to make Republican legislators lives hell.
The Constitution guarantees three rights to all citizens in the following order: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. These were guaranteed from the beginning without argument. These come before the Bill of Rights both chronologically and literally.
Life comes first. We have the right to it and if those in power attempt to deny it to us, we have the right, the responsibility, and the duty to fight for it.
