To my fellow YIM's (Young Impatient Millenial): Stop feeling entitled to success. Connections and a degree can only get you so far. In the end, your TALENT will be recognized. Don't consider the phrase "Follow your dreams" a cliche, consider it the truth. We have time to follow our dreams, we don't have time to fall under the radar. If you really want something in life, chances are there's no easy way to achieve it. It doesn't matter how priveleged you are, or how religious you are-good people fail every day. Once you come to terms with all this, let it be a source of motivation to work harder than you ever have in your life. Don't ever stop improving your work ethic, don't ever stop dreaming. No one can take your talent away from you.
