Just a few Yancy headcanons
I just wanted to put these down somewhere because I've been thinking about mah boy.
He is asexual, panromantic. This could just be me projecting but I got major asexual vibes from him. Panromantic makes sense to me, since he was attracted to Y/N who is supposed to be gender neutral or at least he thought they were attractive.
He was a teenager when he first went to prison.
Pretty much canon but before prison he was 100% a theatre kid, maybe part of a choir.
He is a kinesthetic and aural learner (Hands-on and auditory-musical)
When nervous or anxious he runs his hands through his hair. And chews on his bottom lip.
He likes reading. He is a bit of a slow reader, maybe sometimes finds it difficult to focus but he loves the stories. Would definitely love audiobooks once he discovers them.
He is a bit out of touch with modern technology, movies and songs ect.
Hot chocolate is his favorite hot drink.
Has a secret notebook full of ideas for new musical numbers, dabbles into songwriting and poetry, and random sketches (maybe some of Y/N).
If he decides to leave prison with y/n hcs
He would definitely love a nice cosy evening having movie marathons.
He is a dog person, he loves them so much. Y/N will find him watching complications on YouTube (once he learns about it) but he doesnt mind cats, especially really fluffy ones.
It takes awhile for him to get used to how big and open everything is outside prison. For awhile he gets anxiety going out, and avoids going out alone but once he gets used to it he loves going to the park.
Wanna make him cry. Buy him tickets to Hamilton, or pretty much any theater production. (Kinda want a fic of this not gonna lie)
