I know there's a headcanon that Yancy smokes but I think its be real neat if the pack in his sleeve is actually just a box of cards or at the very least,an old pack of candy cigs.

he's rough 'n tough but his hugs are warm and comforting, filled with a sense of security.

doesn't know how touch-starved he is 'cause he hasn't gotten genuine, gentle affection in way too long.

smells pretty damn good for a guy who lives in prison.

kinda acts like a father figure to some of the younger "family" members. he'd be a really good dad.

always talks about how life in prison is great but it's mainly because he's scared of going out into the world and finding himself completely alone.

suffers from vivid nightmares. people can hear him scream from down the hall at night sometimes but no one ever brings it up.

has a passion for singing and performing. he's a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to that.

is very curious about animals. wants to know everything a out them. often found staring at birds or little rodents with a twinkle in his eye.

smokes but only when feeling really stressed and only does it outside away from others.

doesn't wear long sleeves much 'cause he likes to show off his tattoo.

will do just about anything for those he loves.

is confident and smug about most things but gets shy when someone compliments his singing/dancing/way of speaking.

will be more closed off/conserved/defensice if you make fun of the aforementioned things.

if you betray his trust, he doesn't give second chances and he doesn't forget.

loves wholeheartedly and unashamedly. becomes a big teddy bear and is very protective.

btw this is for a head canon inspired by @bingiplierdaily , and its yancy and Host figuring out they both speak Spanish and used it to make fun of mark. Im actually Latino and am fluent in Spanish so i wrote these myself. i Also agree with bing that the connotation these head canons could have aren’t very positive, so careful with how you use this head canon

Just a few Yancy headcanons

I just wanted to put these down somewhere because I've been thinking about mah boy.

He is asexual, panromantic. This could just be me projecting but I got major asexual vibes from him. Panromantic makes sense to me, since he was attracted to Y/N who is supposed to be gender neutral or at least he thought they were attractive.

He was a teenager when he first went to prison.

Pretty much canon but before prison he was 100% a theatre kid, maybe part of a choir.

He is a kinesthetic and aural learner (Hands-on and auditory-musical)

When nervous or anxious he runs his hands through his hair. And chews on his bottom lip.

He likes reading. He is a bit of a slow reader, maybe sometimes finds it difficult to focus but he loves the stories. Would definitely love audiobooks once he discovers them.

He is a bit out of touch with modern technology, movies and songs ect.

Hot chocolate is his favorite hot drink.

Has a secret notebook full of ideas for new musical numbers, dabbles into songwriting and poetry, and random sketches (maybe some of Y/N).

If he decides to leave prison with y/n hcs

He would definitely love a nice cosy evening having movie marathons.

He is a dog person, he loves them so much. Y/N will find him watching complications on YouTube (once he learns about it) but he doesnt mind cats, especially really fluffy ones.

It takes awhile for him to get used to how big and open everything is outside prison. For awhile he gets anxiety going out, and avoids going out alone but once he gets used to it he loves going to the park.

Wanna make him cry. Buy him tickets to Hamilton, or pretty much any theater production. (Kinda want a fic of this not gonna lie)

DAR and captian magnum are besties. They both love adventure and the rush of adrenaline they get from facing danger.

The DAR is down for any kind of crazy as long as it sounds like a good time (if you don’t believe it’s cannon see all of a heist with markiplier as evidence)

Yancy would love the song candy store 

Magnum is actually kind of a softy (Especially for the DAR) 

Illinois is either aro or just prefers adventure more than love. or both maybe?
