USAII® Celebrates Successful Participation at US AI Congress 2026 as Ajit K Jha Launches New Book
The United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII®) proudly concluded a highly successful participation at the US AI Congress 2026, held on May 27–28 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., where senior leaders, policymakers, researchers, technology innovators, and enterprise executives gathered to discuss the future of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and workforce transformation.
Speaking about the launch, Ajit K Jha said: “We are entering an era where competitive advantage will no longer be defined by access to information, but by how effectively organizations leverage intelligence. Leaders must move beyond viewing AI as a technology project and begin treating it as a core business capability. The enthusiasm around Own The Intelligence Layer demonstrates that executives are actively seeking practical strategies to lead this transition with confidence and purpose.”
Throughout the congress, Ajit K Jha participated in multiple panel discussions addressing some of the most transformative technology trends shaping the future. His sessions included topics on AI and Quantum Computing. These discussions explored the convergence of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, cybersecurity resilience, research ecosystems, and future workforce readiness, highlighting the opportunities and challenges organizations will face in the coming decade.
Representing USAII® alongside Ajit was David Friedson, SVP - Partnerships, who contributed to important conversations focused on AI accessibility, workforce enablement, and the broader societal impact of artificial intelligence. David emphasized the importance of democratizing AI knowledge and ensuring that organizations, educational institutions, and professionals across industries have access to practical AI education and workforce development opportunities.
Commenting on the event, David Friedson said: “The conversations at US AI Congress demonstrated that AI adoption is accelerating across every sector. However, successful transformation depends on people, education, and accessibility. Organizations that invest in AI literacy and workforce readiness today will be best positioned to thrive in the intelligence-driven economy of tomorrow.”
Reflecting on the broader significance of the event, Ajit added: “The future belongs to organizations that can effectively combine human leadership, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies such as quantum computing. The discussions we had during US AI Congress confirmed that leaders are actively seeking practical frameworks to navigate this rapidly changing landscape. That is precisely why initiatives like USAII and books like Own The Intelligence Layer are becoming increasingly important.”
The strong engagement around both the book launch and the panel discussions further reinforced USAII’s growing role in advancing AI education, executive readiness, and workforce transformation on a global scale. As organizations continue to navigate unprecedented technological change, USAII remains committed to helping leaders and professionals build the knowledge, confidence, and strategic capabilities needed to succeed in the age of AI.
