— i’m sorry for the recent delays for the past chapters. i’ve been going out of schedule simply bc i’m having a hard time putting my energy into writing after a toxic work day (it’s peak season at work).
— that being said, i will try to post part nine and part ten as scheduled. the last two chapters will be very hard to write because of the themes that will take place (writing abt emotions take so much effort and my brain is fried at this point), but thank you for all the theories and the rants. they bring me so much joy. for now, i ask you guys to be a little more patient with me. the series will end soon <3

sorry for delaying it by 1 hour! just wanna say a quick thank you for all the love and support you guys have given to this series. the reason why i’d been so motivated to finish wastelands is because of the enthusiasm you guys give into each chapter i put out. all the theories, the reactions, the memes, the fact that i get 100+ asks each chapter — i never thought that this apocalypse au of mine would even have the slightest bit of attention. i looked forward to waking up each day just to read what theories you guys come up with bc i am sooo amazed and grateful. so thank you, from the bottom of my heart, it’s been a pleasure <3 ‘til the next series!

writing part 8 of wastelands while listening to the playlist and i’m sobbing bc it’s the first time suna has been this happy throughout the series. the genuine smile on his face is very clear in my head :’/ (ai stop hurting over your own fic challenge)
